Giving out seeds at 5pm central (canceled at 4:50pm)

hello ^^ as long as multiplayer is up and there has been no region lock (which there shouldn't be, it would be really dumb to lock the online play when anb didn't) , I plan to start opening my farm up at 5pm cst (if this is helpful to anyone its about 7:30 am for me as I'm posting this so that's 10 1/2 hours away). I'm at work now so i haven't been able to test if the servers are up yet but hopefully everything will be good when i get off at 12 ^o^

I am choosing 5 because i will hopefully be ready at the time and people who got their game in the morning will probably be close to spring 26th when multiplayer becomes available.

I am just posting this now for anyone who will be on and would really like a seed or even a certain seed will know that I'll be passing them out at that time ^^

I will update this more once I start opening my farm up at 5 ^^

I do not have the last 2 mushroom seeds ready for people because i slacked :p but I have 5 star everything else ^^ If there is a specific seed you really want such as yam, mango tree, pineapple. Feel free to request and I'll work out getting you into a room.

It would be best to put requests AFTER I update though, because I'm writing this before I know if the servers are up and ready

*also people who added my fc on kross lover/fan's exchange thread http://fogu.com/hmforum/viewtopic.php?f=30&t=164857, dont worry if I haven't added you yet, I will once I get home ^^ Also use that thread for all future requests. Even if it's not seed related, if I see a post there I'll try to help ^^

Update at 3:15pm cst
So sadly I haven't been able to connect to my Japanese game. At this time I don't know if it's because they need to do some sort of patch or if they are just not allowing regional online play (which would be dumb :/ ). I will keep trying throughout the day (especially up til 5) unless I can find any official post online regarding this.

Hopefully it's just some kind of delay and I'll be able to offer things to people soon ^^

I really wanted to be able to help people out day one but unfortunately story of seasons can not trade with its japanese counter part as of now, I'm really sorry

I still plan to give out seeds once it is fully functional. I just had the misconception that it would be ready day one. But since this isn't a huge game such as something like Pokemon I suppose it's understandable. I am thinking maybe an update or patch might need to be implmented if it isn't something automatic with the server, because I don't know much about how cross regional works on servers I can't say for certain when it will be up.

I would assume it will eventually be tradeable between the two, because it seems extremely foolish for SOS to be region locked online when ANB wasn't.

Once it is officially able to trade with one another I will attempt this again! Hopefully that is soon. I will be checking the server all night ^^ I will update this again once it's available!

Will you open your farm later too? Maybe if we PM you when its a good time? I know its probably going to be a lot of trouble on your side, but many of us aren't able to get the game as soon as our local game store opens, or it isn't being shipped until a later date. I will only be able to pick mine up around 2:30 today, and I don't think that leaves me enough time to reach Spring 26th. I know this is a lot to ask, but I was really looking forward to that head start on seeds! Thanks so much!

Earning seeds and raising their quality myself are the reasons I play these games. I feel like buying them already maxed would just take out the entire purpose and fun out of the game. But hey, that might just be me.

That's a nice offer though, I'm sure it will be helpful to those who don't really like that aspect of the game and just want a fast-track to the best crops immediately.

oh no its really no trouble at all. I tend to have awkward sleep and work schedules so I'm on at all different times. This is just a starter one. You are always welcome to pm me or to ask in the exchange thread by Kross Lover/Fan and we can work a time out ^^

also, if it's helpful to anyone I always have fridays and saturdays off, so you can always try to ask me on one of those days if that's easy for you ^^

Oh boy. I told myself that I wouldn't play until the end of my semester so I could focus on my school work but who can resist free SEEDS (omg!!!! Thank you sooooo much >.<)!!!! I'm going to get my game in three hours and play non-stop until my next class >:D

Do you plan on doing anything besides seeds? I got the game early and I've been playing it and I plan to do most everything on my own. The only thing I could see really being helpful to me is Fritz's favorite gift since I have to give it to him 30 times for the reverse marriage. His has to be one of the hardest to get because I need to unlock the recipe, unlock tropical country (which is the hardest) and then be able to fish up the crabs. Have you been able to make HQ Crab Soup yet? Wondering how long it's gonna take me to do it. I would love to get some of those dishes in trading but I'm sure not many people have them.

Nope you didn't do it wrong. I have been on and off ^^ I will appear as Pascal (but I wrote BigBangBaby in my message for my avatar). Once I officially find out what's going on with trading with japanese games, I'll be happy to give you pineapple seeds and a fruit seed ^^
