Multiplayer?

How does it work in this game? I've honestly barely used any on-line trading in any handheld game so it's always new to me.

I know Streetpass wouldn't work since I'm never walking around town with my 3DS in my pocket, but I do have WiFi at the house and there seems to be some kind of SP you can use without actually being on the street. How does that work exactly? I know Fantasy Life has something like it but I've never bothered trying to figure it out.

As far as trading goes, in ANB I did the trading there and exchanged gifts and stuff with strangers, groomed their animals, etc. Honestly it was the only way I would ever get some of the materials since I don't spend a lot of time making giant animals myself.

Is SoS something similar? Do you trade with strangers or are you required to have friend codes this time. I've seen the list of what can be traded, but is there an advantage to actually trading? Does trading raise the star quality or something? Is there a vid or something showing/explaining the trading?

Hi there I just use multiplayer (just using internet and farm with anyone unless you have friend code list)
In Multiplayer Mode:
Open Farm (Create Room or should i say Invite players to YOUR farm )
or Search Farm (Joining Other player's farm)

Spoiler:

1)(Open Farm)You must prepare gifts for 3 players; can be up to 5 same item if you decide to be the host. If you decide you want to start with only just one player, you can, the other 2 gift that you prepared for player 3 & 4 will go back inside you bag/fridge/storage whatever. so don't worry about losing your gifts.

2)You decide to be a guest (Search Farm), you only need to prepare a gift for the host player; can also up to 5 same item

3)Players and yourself can chat (If Child Restriction is off in your console)

4)Let's wave our wands together on crops, tress and animals even grass on your/host player's farm just to increase its quality and reduce animal stress

Always save yourself inside the Guild between 9-6 PM before using multiplayer. why?

Here is the reason:
After using Multi-player:
You must continue your game and retrieve your gifts from Veronica inside the Guild then you can save again before going back to title screen to use multiplayer again
If you asked me doing this over and over its such a pain in the neck


You only gain gifts from other players and plus increase of quality on your crop/tree & reduce stress for animals if you ever decide Open Farm
