Ushi No Tane Forum

Does anyone know exactly how to trigger her events? Her 1st one in particular. From what I understand of the Japanese wiki, to trigger the first event you need to own a coop, (and possibly a chicken?) which I do. You also need rivalry points and 1000 friendship (I've been gifting her turnips/turnip salads since day 1, so I definitely have her there) and need to enter her house around 13:00 to 15:00. I keep trying to do this, but it just isn't triggering. I'm in early Summer year 1 and have no clue what I'm doing wrong. Any advice? The only thing I can think of that I'm missing is rivalry points, but I'm not completely sure as to how to get those.

First, make sure it's not Saturday and the weather is clear/sunny.

Taken from Cher's website:

You can earn Reputation by participating in a rivalry field competition (+10), winning a rivalry field competition (+100), losing a competition or negotiation (+60), or by give up a rivalry field when asked to by a rival (+100). You'll earn Reputation with the rivals involved in the field contests.

So, what you've been raising is friendship points only. If you haven't participated in any field competition, you don't have enough reputation points with her. You should have a shot at winning starting on Summer 12, first year. This is taken from Japanese wiki.

So that was the problem, haha. Thank you! I plan on going for the bee/mushroom area on the 12th, but I'll still need another 50 points after I win that ... is it true that you can only do the first event in the Summer? If so, then I'm still kinda worried I won't be able to trigger it.
