I've been trying to trigger it for over a week, I think I'm just getting unlucky. I have a note on my phone with all the event restrictions around the ones I'm trying to get so I know not to bother on Wed/Sat (she's not even there at that time on Wed/Sat anyway).Samurott wrote:must be the wrong day? can't be wednesday or saturday.

Agreed.ladyfreckles wrote:A ton of little things, but the biggest one so far is the way your horse cross canters. A cross canter isn't correct movement and is a sign that a horse is lame or has a serious problem. Other HM games got the canter/gallop correct, so I can only assume for this game that they had someone animate the canter without ever looking at footage of an actual horse moving.
You know, when I first started this series, I made my character stay up til 10 PM because that's my bedtime IRL. This game punishes you for staying up past 9 PM
And another thing: the fishing tournament time. 7-10 AM? Excuse me, I'm rarely ever done with my farm work by that time! <_<
Yeah, I buzzed through my work to get out there ASAP on that day -- I only have 2 cows and 8 crop patches that needed to be watered, I can't imagine trying to get out there on a fully farm schedule. x_xBlue Leafeon wrote:And another thing: the fishing tournament time. 7-10 AM? I just watered my crops and took care of my animals after the festival.Emurii wrote:Yeah, I buzzed through my work to get out there ASAP on that day -- I only have 2 cows and 8 crop patches that needed to be watered, I can't imagine trying to get out there on a fully farm schedule. x_xBlue Leafeon wrote:And another thing: the fishing tournament time. 7-10 AM? I think the only major thing was the military time, since in the US we don't use it. I suppose it will teach me to use it more though, which is always nice. I get the frustration with the blueprint for the pitchfork, but I found that if I just took my cow outside the filth didn't pile up much, or maybe my cow was constipated and didn't need to go. XD
I find that the days kind of drag on too. But that doesn't bug me as much as I thought it would. I think in the beginning it was more annoying.

Like an idiot, I completed the quest for my house upgrade, then got stuck with a free cow, AFTER the general store had closed for the day. I couldn't buy food for the cow, since it was after business hours, and they were going to be closed the next day. I had to start over again because I refuse to starve my cow
This happened to me too! Luckily my cow didn't seem to mind, but I got really nervous for a while there.pinkcatmint wrote:Like an idiot, I completed the quest for my house upgrade, then got stuck with a free cow, AFTER the general store had closed for the day. When you upgrade your tools, I thought I would have a lot more stamina left. I have a gold watering can, gold axe, gold milker, gold brush, gold sickle, gold clippers, and a master hammer. I'm in year 1 winter and im constantly out of stamina after taking care of my main chores, taking care of my animals and watering and ferterlizing crops and thats when I haven't even touched my crops in the rental fields. I'm constantly cooking or running to Raeger's resturant to eat.
- Insect hitboxes seem way off. I have a very hard time catching them. Often I catch Dragonflies while running away from them, for instance.
- Insects are too small and constantly visually blocked by whatever seasonal effect is on the screen, they are hard to see.
- Winter "sunny day" visual overlay is physically painful. I hate it. Not quite as bad as Fog in HM:TLV, but it is there. EVERY. SUNNY. DAY.
- Have to herd livestock by hand until Summer, Year 2?!
- No way to speed up Animal unlocks through hard work or Animal Breeding?!
- Stamina is pretty bad still for me, I know I'm having a very hard time waiting for Sakura Country to stock Pearl items so I can craft a Stamina Recovery Accessories Set, as my Oyster only gave me the color I can already buy at Mistel's shop (Yellow). I have to eat 2-3 inventory Cooked Dishes a day, +Café visits. And I'm definitely not using all my fields.
- Not being able to renew Field Lisence 1~3 days before it expires irks the « Puppy Doodoo » out of me. I want to have multiple fields with the same expiration date (which I finally just managed with Tea and Tree fields), but I guess I'm stuck risking fields going back into Conquest if I want to match up my other fields.
- TV is way too hard to get, I did not get one until Winter. Starter house or one of the first two house upgrades should come with a freebie, even if is like a terrible old B&W set.
- Not sure if this is a seasonal problem or not, but certain colors of "Fluffy Down" are far too scarce. I've picked up 1 Yellow and 1 Orange. I think a Country Vendor will eventually stock them, but it is hard to choose which outfit to make right now.

How long it takes to unlock new animals bothers me...
The unlocks for the last two vendors seem like they'll take me forever and a day
I need more storage space for everything but you have to buy the blueprint for the upgrade (which isn't available to me yet) or just put two of everything in your house.... my house is crowded >> (Or maybe I'm just a hoarder idk)
The mine also doesn't give me what I want. Like. Ever

fun fact: you can stick stuff like extra storage boxes outside on your farm so they don't clutter up your house. It still makes your storage space bigger, but now you have room to walk!juri-puff wrote:How long it takes to unlock new animals bothers me...

I wanna know what I'm getting intoSamurott wrote:thought it would be hella cute to put some roads down around my farm (like in animal crossing) but the stone T-road and intersection don't line up AT ALL. it misses by enough pixels where it'll bug my eyes so i just got rid of all of them. wasted so much money on soil :/

Ugh that's awful. I don't get why they have such a hard time making things line up nicely via roads. In ANB I HATED how the river-forest exit and the town paths/entrance to western half of town didn't line up at all. Guess I won't be using the paths here either because I hate things being even a tiny bit off too.Samurott wrote:thought it would be hella cute to put some roads down around my farm (like in animal crossing) but the stone T-road and intersection don't line up AT ALL. it misses by enough pixels where it'll bug my eyes so i just got rid of all of them. wasted so much money on soil :/
