Edit: Actually, I just tried it and it didn't work out for me...maybe I'm doing something wrong.
If the date is passed, traders don't show up on the calendar - just future dates. Maybe that was your problem?
But yeah, any time there is something else to show, look at the bottom right corner for the little "Y" button. THEN you can flip to the next page ^_^

Sadly I've been doing it for different crops. I have a couple of trees/tea bushes along with one of every crop type I have growing on my field. >_>

You can't flip over all of the days. It only works on the days when a trader is actually in town. If you look on the bottom right of the screen(I think it is bottom right...) there should be a floating "Y" if the page can be flipped over or not.

I think it would be great, at least for the first few days of a season, Otmar would supply more than two crop seeds. (:

Why is there a small pond in the safari area that I animals are placed in when you bring them with you? I clipped some alpaca wool near the pond and it fell in! I just littered for the first time ever in one of these farming games and it was not even my fault! Don't want to reset because I spent a long time in the safari!
I just got to winter, and I have to agree with everyone else: the "fog" is a bit too much. At first, I was like "well, this isn't so bad", but then the sun started to shine, and I felt like I had to squint just to see where I was going. As if I didn't hate winter enough already.

The fog doesn't bother me so much but the sunshine definitely does. I always think it's real life sun shining on my DS and then I try to move around to get rid of it. Arr.
One thing that reeeeeeaally bothers me now that didn't bother me @ all in the beginning - the layout of the town. First of all, the town itself is too big for the # of people living there. Everyone is too spread out. Secondly, I don't like how I live sooooo far from the actual town. I would prefer to be where Fritz & Georgio live. Then we would have the choice to run out to all those other fields if we wanted to... rather than pretty much having to go through them to go to the town. And yes, I know about the carrot traveling. I just honestly don't find it to be that useful.
The carrots are super useful! You don't ever have to go through the mountain if you don't want to. They are so cheap and easy to get, I take care of my farm, warp to town, buy stuff, then I walk back up the mountain and hit the fields as I go. 1 spot in the bag is definitely worth that. I would so much rather that than have to walk through the town anytime I need to be somewhere else. I don't see why you guys don't like them.
I actually like the weather and season effects a lot. It mixes things up.
I haaaaate contests so much though. RNG should never be as crucial to the outcome as it is in this game. I miss the old festivals they had too. Like the horse races especially!

I just turned it off lmao...one more tedious replayed tutorial day...at least I save every night!
Everyone says they prefer people walking as opposed to teleporting...but I've thrown gifts on the ground by accident a lot already, which is a minor annoyance...
I know I oughta save 5 turnip seeds and collect iron for a pitchfork and bricks and weeds...I also know to befriend my rivals quickly...anything else I should be aware of so I don't face any unnecessary annoyances?
