1) I decided to reset my game, so I'm back in the one week tutorial and I've already obtained 1 peridot. The question is, I'm not sure if I should sell it or save it. It sells for 3000G, but I'm not sure if I'm going to need it for something important later on in the game. Should I keep it or sell it?
2) I'm torn between Fritz and Nadi. Fritz is adorable, but it seems like it would be too easy to raise his FP by the looks of his liked gifts. As for Nadi, it seems complicated, which is fine with me, but I have no clue when his liked gifts will be available.

If you don't upgrade your home by the time Eda dies, will you still get her cow? I'm just curious.
Most people suggest selling the gems, as you need money early on, but I haven't seen a single peridot. You may want to save it if you don't need money fast. I know I get a lot of topazs and somewhat decent amounts of flourite, so I sell those.

1. Like the other ores they eventually become available to buy through the vendors. Also you can mine for it starting year 1. There isn't really anything you need early on that requires a peridot so feel free to sell if you need to and mine any you need starting in fall.
2. You can get Nadi's liked recipe in winter of year 1 from rose country (Bouillabaise) And since he's in winter it works out ^^. His favorite dish is green juice which is annoying to get because the traveling sales woman is the devil but silk country (I believe silk if not its one of them ^^) tends to award you with green juice for doing merchant requests so hoard them from that ^^

3. I don't know for sure, but I don't think you will. But eda doesn't die until winter. And your first upgrade is super easy, you'll most likely have it done in middle spring ^^
