Silly Question

So I just got my copy of the game yesterday. Liking it so far, but I had a quick question and I couldn't see an answer for it.

I planted a peach tree and I was wondering if I can/will be able to move it. I tried picking it up in Edit mode, like in ANB, but it wouldn't let me grab it. Any help would be appreciated.

Unfortunately no, you will have to cut it down and replant a seedling ^^ it's the same with crops too, you cant move plots, you have to hammer them away and use the hoe in the new area you want them to be

Darn, is that true for all crops or just trees?

No worries, after the summer i can cut it down and plant a new one i guess, i won't miss out on any harvests that way.
