Do trees regrow?

I was wondering if trees regrow on your farm like in a new beginning? Sorry if this is a silly question. I'd like to keep some trees. I know you can plant some as a "crop" but do they grow wild? Thanks for your time!

Yes ^^ after so long if there is nothing on parts of your land, trees will start to grow

Do rocks reappear the same way or do they need as storm to appear?

I haven't had boulders reappear on my farm. And I never had any appear during storms so I am not positive based on my experience I would say no ^^
