But how do you start rivalry events with Eda before she dies?
I would like to get that farm but I dont know how to do these "Rivalry Events"

when the lease of a field expires (the game will inform you that morning when you wake up) you can go to the guild and talk to Veronica to challenge the owner of the farm for the field.

I'm sorry to hijack this thread, but something I was wondering is how to get the Boiled Potatoes recipe since that's Eda's favorite? I've been giving her a butterfly everyday and she's still at the squiggly lines stage, and it's almost Summer. Getting a little antsy. :'D;;;;;;;

You can buy the recipe from the Sakura country vendor after you buy the basic pot recipes (also from that vendor). However, you can only unlock the vendor starting in fall. Until then you can give her turnip salads instead of butterflies if you can, they give +500 FP instead of +300 FP.

I think you get it whether you see the events or not. The events just give the character more background. And they are something to aim for if you are a completionist.

They remove all the buildings. I suppose the 4 fields you can use will be left untouched but I cannot confirm it.
