Removing Tree Stumps From Land

Hello, I'm new to these forums and the Harvest Moon games!

I've found a lot of helpful information through here and tumblr but how do I remove this tree stump?
I removed this tree so I could place a fence, but it's in my way... grrr

After the tree falls, go up to the stump and press A a few times! You'll remove it! :lol:
