Phoenix mode sounds interesting...I honestly don't know if I'd use it though, since I'll probably be playing like a filthy casual anyway lol no shame

Camilla is voiced by Miyuki Sawashiro. Thousand points to Nohr for me; Sawashiro is one of my favorite female seiyuu and they couldn't have picked a much more fitting seiyuu. I'm stoked.

So the archer on the Hoshido side is Takumi and the younger girl on the Nohr side is Elise.

We already knew this, but the protag's unit type is Dark Prince/ss and you can change their gender/looks/voice/etc

Casual mode returns! But an even easier mode called "phoenix mode" was put in, which instead of reviving your troops after you finished the map; you revive all your units after each turn. People are already super pissy over this, but I don't really care, I'm not using it personally. Game would be no fun just curbstomping everything.

Sounds like the characters from both royal families have the ability to change stuff on the battlefield, like bridges, earthquakes, etc.

No weapon more limited weapon usage as they don't break anymore. Sounds like the type of weapon you use will be way more important this time around.

Yeah, I don't get why people would get pissy over a mode that can be avoided. They aren't forcing this mode down your throat like, "Play this mode or you no play game no mo!" It's there for people who feel like they need it. I'm probably going with Casual mode because I hate to see my units die.

I just noticed how Elise in this looks game looks a BIT like Elise in SoS. So, after farming she decided to be the princess of a war conquering kingdom, her father is Garon and her elder sister is Camilla. It all makes sense!

Really happy they put in a bit more customization. Really surprised about no skin color though.

The only use for me personally I can see using phoenix mode, is for grinding out supports to fill my support log on the Nohr side.

Best get off the waifu/husbando train for these 8 characters at least, unless they do the whole "I'm not actually related to you!" thing, but in the recent info it sounds like all of the royals on both sides have dragon blood flowing through their veins, so that's one of the reasons they are able to manipulate stuff on the battlefield.

Pffft, just kidding. I'm a tad disappointed I ain't gonna lie or sugar or coat it but not going to let it damage my hype for this game / its appeal.

I still think they might (keyword might) go with the whole not related thing since it wouldn't make sense for Kamui to be related to both sides. Unless the Nohr Royals and Hoshido Royals are all related to each other too.

They could, but somehow in the short amount of supports we have, go from 'family' > lovers. It's going to be a tad odd and really awkward no matter how they try to drop the whole "I thought we were blood related but I was in love with you all along lets bang" thing. Would need some...rather creative writing in that case xD;; We'll just have to see though. Will be really interesting if that Aqua rumor is true.

Oh well. I can kindly look at Leon/Marx from afar :p Hype still on for cravat-man though!
