They could, but somehow in the short amount of supports we have, go from 'family' > lovers. It's going to be a tad odd and really awkward no matter how they try to drop the whole "I thought we were blood related but I was in love with you all along lets bang" thing. Would need some...rather creative writing in that case xD;; We'll just have to see then. Will be really interesting if that Aqua rumor is true.
True...Although there's still a lot of inconsistencies from both sides. The Hoshido royals claim that Kamui had been with them at some point like family (such as Hinoka crying on Kamui's shoulder)...yet he/she remembers nothing. One could argue maybe Nohr wiped off his or her memories but that wouldn't make any sense if he/she spent most of his/her life raised in Nohr. Kamui could have been abducted by Nohr at an infant age so who knows.
This is my own spin to the theories but...it could be possible that Kamui's memories from either Nohr or Hoshido are fake. He/she may have not come from either of the royal families at all if only because there's so much contradiction between how Hoshido's royals claim Kamui should be remembering them and what not. It's a stretch but who knows.
I apologize for my forgetfulness...but who's Aqua again.
"RUMOR MILL NOT CONFIRMED: "Apparently Aqua is in the reverse situation as the Avatar; she's the princess of Nohr taken prisoner by Hoshido." need to wait until the full readable scans come out. Interesting if true though!"
Which could mean that both countries did a hostage exchange, which could prove really interesting on the politics-side of things.
Can't see the image 'cause of school's crappy image blocking issues. Me sad.
I'll reserve my judgement until the whole things made clearer, since y'know, there's not a whoooole lot made clear...but even if they are completely...unattainable, there'd probably still be supports with them and that'd be fine with me. I love close sibling relationships~
I refuse to get off the train, if they want me gone they'll have to carry me off!.... *sniff*
Ahhhhh, the official art is sooo pretty and I really like that one design of the female kamui. I'm really liking the Va's we've gotten so far, as well. The name Elise is pretty fitting for onee-chan and it looks like Takumi is confirmed for archer boy.
Hmmmmm, I'm not really putting much stock in the Aqua rumor, we'll see. Something just seems odd to me about it. Not against it, just not for it.

Thanks. Still, I wonder what the symbolism between Aqua's black/white outfits mean.
Yeah. I mean, the thing is as far as who Kamui is related to, I can only imagine these scenarios ::
* Hoshido is lying and that Kamui is truly related to Nohr's royals
* Nohr is lying and that Kamui is truly related to Hoshido's royals
* Neither of them are telling the truth, both are lying in some form
It's most probably that Kamui was raised in Hoshido as an infant / really young toddler but I wouldn't bank it as him/her being instantly related to them by blood.
I'm not honestly all that worried. Even if I love Leon's character so far, I think I'm perfectly okay with the "sibling" approach since we barely had any of that in the last game. I'd rather have more varied relationships than everyone being able to hook up with everyone, so I'm willing to compromise.
It will still be a tad bit sad though, however haha.
- Marx (Paladin / CV. Konishi Katsuyuki)
Amongst Nohr's royal family, he is the eldest son. Although taciturn, he has an honest personality. For the sake of the kingdom, he follows his father's -- the king's -- intentions (?) .
- Camilla (Revenant Knight / CV. Sawashiro Miyuki)
Nohr's eldest daughter. She dotes on her younger brother/sister (the protagonist) to the point where she'd be more than willing to kill someone for their sake.
- Leon (Dark Knight / CV. Miyano Mamoru)
Marx's younger brother. Unlike his older brother, he excells at magic. He's a genius who can flawlessly handle anything.
- Elise (Rod Knight / CV. Suwa Ayaka)
The youngest child amongst Nohr's royal family, with an innocent personality. Despite not being related by blood, she's just as close with the protagonist as she is with her real siblings.
- Ryouma (??? / CV. Nakamura Yuuichi)
On top of being Hoshido Kingdom's eldest son, he is also the protagonist's real brother. He is full of samurai spirit and has an extremely reliable presence.
- Hinoka (Pegasus Warrior / CV. Nazuka Kaori)
Hoshido Kingdom's eldest daughter. She began training as a pegasus warrior after the protagonist was kidnapped by Nohr Kingdom.
- Takumi (Archer / CV. Kaji Yuuki)
Ryouma's younger brother. In order to obtain other's recognition of his own strength, he has been perfecting his martial arts. He is somewhat suspicious of others.
- Sakura (Shrine Maiden/Priestess / CV. Kanemoto Hisako)
Ryouma, Hinoka, and Takumi's younger sister. Unlike the other three, she's shy and timid.
Wow... Serene's forest forum is kind of a shitfest. So many angry people, so little time.
Anyways, that guy that we always see on the horse, the one with silver hair that everyone was calling pompadour guy for some reason, it appears we now have a portrait to attach to that face. I could be wrong, but that would mean that we have two very similar looking characters. Can't read his name though because of where they put that box, but he appears to e teamed up with kamui.
Spoiler:
« Cow Poopy » red square of doom
And in the image below that there may be a character named Erufi/Elufi/Elfi? The one in pink armor, I believe, if the arrow pointing from the first picture to the other is any indication.
Again, I could be completely wrong.

RopeMaidenKirie wrote:Yuuuup, they are your bros/sisters according to the article. Best get off the waifu/husbando train for these 8 characters at least, unless they do the whole "I'm not actually related to you!" thing, but in the recent info it sounds like all of the royals on both sides have dragon blood flowing through their veins, so that's one of the reasons they are able to manipulate stuff on the battlefield.
But but but but! Camilla! You can't tell me this kind of thing and not expect waifus and husbandos!
Technically they did it in Awakening with
Spoiler:
Aversa; she's technically the Avatar's adopted sister and yet they can marry.
Ah well, not a huge loss. Camilla will always have a place in my heart and I'll just S rank her first with my Nohr file. It's what pulled me into Awakening, but it won't be a deal breaker for me.

Yeah, the people over on Serenes are acting like children. Kinda of gross tbh, especially with some of the language they are using.
Looks like Erufi to me. It's definitely something>rufi, because you can make out the フィ at the end of it. For the other dude, no idea. All I see is "Kamui" but nothing for his name.
@Ronin - Well in the case of Aversa, you didn't actually grow up with her and didn't even meet her until you were an adult, so it's kinda not the same imo. You have super tight bonds it seems with Nohr royal family having grown up there, that everyone thinks of you as their family (at least by the descriptions). With Avatar/Aversa
Spoiler:
your mom took you from your crib and fled Validar, and then he ended up adopting an orphan Aversa later on after he killed off her village
but still, there's always a chance that they change around the story with twists and turns. So no doubt at this point nothing is certain!

Edit: New poll!
Haha, whoops, looking back I honestly do not know I could have read that as ア. If anything the first symbol looks like it could be イ, but it also looks like there's a stroke at the bottom, a possible dust particle or shine, so I see it more as エ, you are correct. Erufi, Elfy? I can wait until there's a clearer picture.
Doing some research, Elfy and Elfi are actual names, and girls names at that. It is a short form of Elfriede which means strength, and it would be fitting, I think.

Oh yeah, I forgot about that. That makes sense. I need to play Awakening again (I probably will when the release date gets closer and closer for If). Well, like I said, no big deal if there's no marriage system; the game looks great as it is.
My first file will be casual normal. I don't want to throw my 3DS across my room when I first get it.
Kamui could be related to Hoshido so I guess I would let the skin thing slide this time. It would be nice but, eh.
Phoenix/Lunatic seems tempting, just for the fact that if I'd play it, I'd watch units die over and over, hehe~ Casual/Normal for me though. I like to play to experience the story and get a reign on things before I play for any other reason.

So, it looks like protag was kidnapped by Nohr?
Well, Garon did say 'I'll let you live to do my bidding', so it seems like that the case. Question is, why was Kamui anywhere near the area to begin with...
Looks like Hinoka really is your sister; there goes my wooing plans XD. Jokes aside, I find it interesting that she started training as a Pegasus Knight right after Kamui gets kidnapped. That's kind of heart-breaking when you think about it; there's a chance she started training because she felt some type of guilt about her inability to protect Kamui from being kidnapped or was holding onto some vain hope that she could find him despite the odds being low. If that doesn't say 'devoted big sister', I don't know what does.
Something about Camilla gave me that 'protective older sister vibe', so learning she's like that doesn't surprise me. Me and a friend even joked that the animated scene is actual her intro and she walking like that toward someone who has momentarily captured Kamui, saying something along the lines of 'so you're the one who has the death wish'.
Gotta say, hearing about your siblings reminded me how much it's going to suck when I have to choose a side. But at least we now know who our siblings are, so no more arguments about who is related with who.
NGL, the Phoenix mode doesn't bother me in the least and it might have just pushed me to getting the Nohr version instead. Hard/Pheonix sounds like a good start, especially with the language barrier i'll run into.
