Is there any goal in this game that I need to race to, or can I just take it easy?
In ANB, I felt like it was grind, and a race against time, to get the Restoration Plans done so I could unlock certain things. I was wondering if there's any reason I would have to speed things up in SoS.
Related information if anyone cares:
Spoiler:
I'm 12 hours into the game and I'm only on Summer 13. All I have is a cow and a horse. The only vendor I have is Silk Country, but I almost have Cabin Country. I don't have any makers built. I've made little to no progress with the bachelors. My current goal is to buy myself a chicken, then a sheep after unlocking Cabin Country, then start on the animal treats, and I also need to get my makers built. That's all good and dandy, BUT ...
I feel like I'm missing something. Is it really okay to go at such a slow pace? Am I missing out on anything? I don't care if it takes me a long time to get things done, I'm having a lot of fun! I just don't want to mess things up.
Oh, right, Zebus and Araucanas. Huh, I guess I can just take my time then, haha. Thanks!
@Samurott, I know what you mean! That's how ANB made me feel. In SoS, though, it feels different to me. I don't think of it as "let me complete this game", I just think of it as "let me make my life on my virtual farm as awesome as possible". XD
@Val
ahh that's good to hear. I guess the pressure of having to complete an important goal is gone now? after finishing all of the plans i found it much more fun to make little goals (getting an animal to produce 5x, five star crops, making a dish, etc.) in my head. do you find yourself doing that in SoS as well?
