Alright Folks...

This is the first time I've never kept up with an HM game since one came out in Japan, and this popped up out of the blue for me... I'm going to pick up a copy tomorrow, and I wanted to know what I should expect from this game! How is everyone else enjoying it so far?

I'll be picking my copy up tomorrow as well! haha there's has been a bit of talk about veteran and seedling mode, so know which one to pick because you can't switch out if you choose to change in the middle of your file!

Seems a little slow to start, and there's not much of a plot. BUT the gameplay is different and wonderful.

It's fun! It's got a little bit of a slow start but once you set things up and have animals and crops to eat up a portion of the day it goes better. The only thing driving me crazy is that I still have to wait for items to spawn every so often to get stuff built. It takes forever to save up some of the items! I hear it gets easier as you unlock more though so I'm looking forward to that lol

Wild items spawn slower? I remember a « Puppy Doodoo » ton of stuff being in a New Beginning, haha.

It's not that there isn't a ton of « Puppy Doodoo » out there, it's just that it seems like it's never the stuff you need ^^;

that's good to hear haha

now i won't end up with a ton of old branches instead of what i actually needed.
but it seemed like i would pass a bunch of stuff not needing it, but the minute i needed something there was suddenly a scarcity.
