Before getting bugs wasn't so tedious. Now I'm chasing it, running in circles behind it, going cross make-believe roads after it. Heck I'm literally stepping over it. And I still didn't catch it?! Where's the bug spray when you need it? I'll be happy with a gravity gun to slow it down! Anyone but me sharing my problems?

Ugh, I noticed that too :( I feel like I need to stand a few feet away to catch them, and the locusts jump around like crazy in this game. :o

I was pretty surprised how the bugs are somewhat more difficult to catch in the game. Being at a farther distance and trying to catch them seems to help! If you're too close you can't catch them which I find mildly annoying.

Ahh I thought I was going crazy! Haha I'm glad I'm not the only one. It is kind of annoying but it's not hard enough to really bug me *no pun intended* hehe
I mean, it's still 1000x easier than catching them in real life :)

Yeah, I feel really awkward trying to catch bugs since it feels like I either have to be all up in their arthropodian grill or at juuuuuust the right angle.

You don't, unless you're super poor/just starting.
Half the villagers like butterflies, though, so it's good for cheap gifts.
