What to sell/ what to save

Ok, I'm on day 9. The first day I can ship stuff and make some money. My problem is I'm afraid to sell anything I might need, but I don't know what I might need.

Obviously I won't sell building materials like pebbles and twigs. I've been collecting stuff daily so I have a fair collection of fish, bugs, weeds etc. I know Eda likes butterflies so I'll save a few of those. What else would I be wise to save that make easy gifts or will be useful soon that I'm not aware of?

I have a couple interesting bottles I found in the river. Are they "trash", can I use them for anything, or should I sell them?

Any point in hanging onto my milk at this stage? I don't have a kitchen yet so is there anything I can do with it at this point? Only done the first upgrade to my house so far.

Basically I guess I would love a list of items and what they sell for and what their use is. Anyone know of such a list that's out yet?

FYI, I have not spent the past several weeks/months reading up on this game. So feel free to assume I don't know stuff. All I know is what I've read since yesterday.

Save the bottles, you'll definitely need them later for buildings. Also, for the milk it would be good to save 5 for later on when you get a certain request! besides that I'm also interested on what else we should save.

Thanks, that's helpful. I only have 3 milk so far so I'll hang on to those.

I've always thought bottles should be used for something. I guess it's from playing Zelda games. Glad they finally made them useful. Thanks for the heads up.

Glass stones as well, some flowers that you can pick too (for decor purposes, far as I've found out). Basically all materials (though I sold any gems I found in the river because I NEED money heh)
