Heh, I know what you mean about that last part. I was ok doing the failing relationship while dating, but driving her FP down while married sucked. I actually raised her FP back to green before shutting the game off, despite the fact I wasn't even going to save after doing that.Ronin19 wrote:@Ilmoran: Thanks for doing that. Her's isn't so bad. Even though I'm going for Elise's romantic dialogue to post here, I wasn't planning on doing the falling marriage dialogue. I can't bring myself to do that to anyone.

I don't think it's that strange, I mean people cry at movies, and a) you are only watching, not actually driving the action, and b) you put a lot more time into the game than you put into a movie, so you're more invested into it in general.rainydaze wrote:it is strange feeling guilty over that... but i must admit that i would too.
Although me not wanting to stop until I somewhat salvaged the relationship is probably strange :-p
Ugh! This game is pure evil. I went to go work on the last two confessions for Agate... and her reverse confession triggered on my birthday. I have to turn her down on my birthday...

When I go back to my main file, I may have to set this up to happen again, but that means waiting for year 3 to date her

Because I'm trying to get screenshots of the reject->confess dialog (and the breakup->confess dialog). It's either that or don't go see her and wait another week.rainydaze wrote:why did you have to turn her down?Ilmoran wrote:Ugh! This game is pure evil. One of the other bachelorette's has the same type of "holding me all night isn't going to help me sleep" dialog after the fireworks show

Huh... I seem to have run into a problem.
After triggering the reverse->reject->confess dialog, I can't seem to break up with Agate.
At first I thought Valentine's Day/Starlight Gala were causing me problems, but I just slept through the entirety of summer and she still won't break up with me. Gonna reload back to when I started the breakup and try one more time (Sleep from Fall 21 Y3 to Winter 10 Y4), and if that doesn't work, I guess I'll go for the reverse->reject->propose dialog, and try to get the breakup->confess dialog on a different save.
Edit: Actually, I just noticed the JP wiki says it must be saturday or sunday and sunny in order to breakup. One more try!
Ok, sunny saturday/sunday was the problem (or at least one, I still suspect the automatic invite for the Starlight Gala poses a problem too); i was able to reload my Fall 21 save, and sleep until the Saturday right before the Starlight Gala, which came up sunny finally, and the breakup triggered. Now for two months of groveling to win her back!
