...it isn't supersized?
It gives me 5 servings of yak milk but it's still regular sized. Has it not reached enough hours outside or something?
My yak is at maximum productivity, but...

I'm having a bit of trouble finding where in the guide Cher talks about super-sizing specifically but it appears that to get cows and yaks to produce 5* you need:
-Feed it enough treats to reach the next level after level 4
-Have the cow between 9 to 10 hearts of friendship
-The cow has spend 1000 hours of time outside the barn on your farm
So I am guessing your yak isn't supersized because it's missing one of the last two requirements? Sometimes I'm pretty sure it's taken a day or two for my game to register that my animal needed to be supersized too.

I just remembered that for my cows specifically, they did not reach maximum productivity UNTIL they were supersized. So I just assumed that an animal will not reach maximum productivity until they were supersized. Then here's my tiny (in comparison to the cows) yak producing 5 yak milks and I was confused. I just assumed all the requirements had to be met before I could hit 5 productivity. Oh well, I'm sure the yak will be supersized eventually. I'll give it a few days of sunlight, haha.

That's the most gosh darn saddening news I heard today. I love having supersized animals.Kelocena wrote:I had asked the same question earlier about my llama. The reply I got was that for whatever reason, llamas and yaks don't get super sized when they reach maximum productivity. This has held true for my yak and my two llamas.
Oh well, at least now I know. Thanks for answering me!
