Nick and Haila

Hello all~ I know it's been a long while since HMSI had been release but I have no idea how many times have I replayed this game. Alright, now I'm back on it, there's this some things about Nick and Haila (Diner's and Cafe's owner respectively) I really have to clarify.

-Besides buying food from Nick and Haila and learning recipes, are there anyways to increase FP with them?
-How long does it take to raise FP with Nick and Haila just by buying food from them daily?
-Does buying a 0 gold water counts the above two questions?
-To receive their sunstones, I just have to have learn 40 recipes from Nick and 30 recipes and having 2 FP hearts with them?

Not as far as I know.

That's right. I followed the instructions here and they worked!

I can't give you the answers to the other two questions, sorry! But I wouldn't worry too much about how long it'd take to raise their FPs by solely buying food. If you learn recipes, you automatically raise their friendship hearts at the same time. I never bought much from them, I just gave them ingredients everytime I could and got both of their sunstones in the first year.

From my experiences, it takes between 1-2 years to raise their friendship up, depending on how consistently you're eating at their shops and getting new recipes from them.

As for the water, I don't /think/ it counts, but I could be wrong about that.

For their sunstones, they actually have two. One is you learn the necessary recipes and the other is having them at 2 hearts. I was able to get the recipe ones without them at 2 hearts. With those two, I always found it to be a pain to get them to 2 hearts.
