I would hazard a guess that none of the missing letters are O or S, since those are the only letters filled in... Ahh, want to buy another vowel, please xD

When is this DLC out? Because this little code dealie is gonna make me nuts.

I bet that even if we cracked it, it'd just be another hint. Evil, Evil, Evil.

Assuming that none of the missing letters are S or O, the only thing I can come up with so far is "music." Everything else I think of uses an O or S as one of the missing letters... If S and O can be missing letters, there's "stones" for the second clue and "clothes" or "flowers" for the last one... And for all we know, some of these words could be arcane ones like "pergola." Time to break out the jumble solvers, I guess xD

I'm kinda guessing that the top one is missing no other S (but may have an O), and the bottom is missing no more O but may have an S. I still see Woodshop in the first one, but damn, there are so many things that could fit.

The top one I think is damn near impossible. The bottom may be crackable. Not to many (common) words contain a double O. Moon and Wood are the first two that spring to mind.

But, of course, they called those other DLC thingies "pergolas", so I guess assuming a fairly common word...well, we have to go back to the word "assume". XD

"BOOM" also has a double O, and Doc says that a lot....

ETA: Then my guttermind brings up b00bs and booze >_<. I think either of those is pretty damned unlikely.

"Hoosegow" also fits, but that's just plain weird.

"New hint time:

_ _ s _ _ s_ _ _ _ s
and

_ o o _ _ _ o _ _ _ o _ _ _ _"

That's a direct copy/paste...I asked for clarification as to the spacing/word count, as it seems unclear.

ETA: Direct from Natsume's Twitter:

"To clarify our earlier hint, each line has two words:
_ _ s _ _ / s_ _ _ _ s
_ o o _ _ _ o _ / _ _ o _ _ _ _
#HarvestMoon: The Lost Valley"

FWIW, and this is of course wildly and probably incorrectly guessing, but my mind puts "woodshop" in the first word of the second clue. IDK what that'd mean, gameplaywise.
Umm... for the 2nd part, look up words that start and end with S?

We don't know if it's a singular word that happens to end with an S or if it's a plural :/.

I'm all for trying to figure out a clue, but these are....well, like the crop mutations!

Updated clue!

"One new vowel, one new consonant:

_ _ s i _ / s _ _ _ s
_ o o n _ _ o _ / _ _ o _ _ _ _"

Hubby suggests the 1st word on the 2nd line might be Moonglow.

Dunno. For what it's worth, I suggested Moondrop as a possibility, and it was retweeted without comment....

Possible these are all seeds/crops?

If we get more flowers, thats not really a problem because they seem to all mutate anywhere above HE- 16 but if we get more regular crops, boy are we screwed.

At least if it was DLC, maybe I could help contribute a bit. Though my current farmer has only just barely unlocked Summer >_<. Jimmy-Dean, he's a slowpoke.

ETA: I've been skimming through lists of fruits, veggies, and flowers, but so far I haven't seen anything that jumps out at me.

Why only Summer? I unlocked Fall during Winter year 1. BTW can you link me to CeeCee/Natsume's post on twitter?(You did say twitter, right?) I only have Facebook and don't have a twitter account. Natsume on FB seems to be un-updated considering the last post was The Lost Valley Q/A #5
