I tried new DLC mining location, but that didn't get retweeted... And now the clue's been updated making it look like "New DLC coming tomorrow."

@Lirishae aren't they in California? If that is the case, you're in the future. I think California is Pacific so I'm 1 hour ahead of them and you are 1 hour ahead of me.

Yup, I wanna say they are in Burlingame? Xseed, and SE's NA offices are all in the same general area...one day I might have to go tourist and take pics of the offices or something (they probably don't even have signs up XD).

Square Enix is right by LAX on Sepulveda(sp?). You can actually see the building they're in from some of the terminals.

Yup, they're actually pretty close. If I wanted to, I could be there in an hour or so (depending on traffic).

Turns out I was wrong about the distance to Burlingame though; I had it confused with another city (this happens....well, way too much, actually LOL). It's way upstate, a 6+ hour drive. So, my little video game nerd tourist day dream fades into nothingness.

I'll have to refocus my nerd dream on E3....that's actually pretty local AND I kind of have an in. One of my long-time customers actually works the venue for...I wanna say Activision? So he goes every year and last year he told me he could get me tickets 0_0. Only problem is, I really can't leave work easily (own the shop, and my co-worker--the husband--is really not capable of running it by himself), and I also don't drive. So close, and yet so far...XD

T_T that must be frustrating to be so close yet so far. Aren't E3's in New York and California? I'm in Illinois so either isn't EXACTLY an option.

Usually in LA, I dunno about New York. Maybe they flip locations, but I seem to remember the last several at least being in Sunny So. Cal. If the trains run well, I can actually be in LA in like...45 minutes.

This year if I can't go, I have to bully--erm, I mean, politely ask--my customer to go to the Natsume booth to pick up some swag for me. Last year I was SO CLOSE to snagging the bigger plush dog (which I want really, really badly), but at the last minute the guy who was going (employee of the customer) got called away to another job

Is the free DLC really adding new flowers? I thought there were way too many flowers in the game already with all the mutations and such. What the game really need IMO is some guidance in game as to how to get the mutations. Heck even knowing how to get them doesn't mean they are not very difficult to get. Not knowing how to get them makes it all but impossible to do on your own. Probably the main reason I dropped the game.

I also wouldn't mind a change that actually made selling crops profitable. Right now the only way to really make money is through mining ... and this is supposed to be a farming game.

The flowers are free, and the crops are free for now. Eventually, they'll cost 99 cents to download.

LeBurns, we've cracked all but four mutations, and CeeCee has mentioned working on a guide that might shed some light on the remaining ones. Some of the mutations are decently profitable to sell, though mining is still the way to go for money.

I've seen some HM merchandise online and want it soooooo bad but I think I'd rather get it myself(mail carriers around here, EEK!) and at a discount if I could.
