Does anybody know the required number of treats to feed each animal to increase its productivity?

I know 25% of the snacks bar is 2 products, 50% is 3, 75% is 4, and full is 5.
But I'm not sure of the exact numbers. From looking at the bar for a few animals I just bought, I've given them 16 treats and they're around half-way to 25%, so if I had to guess I'd say around 30? And it seems to be the same for all animals.
Also, that's when giving them specific breed treats (cow, sheep, rabbit, etc), not regular treats. If you use regular treats it will not increase as quickly.

30 sounds right to me. It took me a year to go from 1-5 products, so 30 per level would be 120 days. It was also 30ish treats per level in ToTT and ANB, though the exact number varied a little between animal types.

I would like to know this too, in the other games, it had to be specific numbers of treats, like 5 to 10 percent regular treats than 90 to 95 percent of animal type treats or some combination like that. Is it like this or can I give regular treats to all?

It took me 117 days give or take a few to max out a Jersey cow with moo-moo treats.

It's not like that any more. Regular treats work for all animals, but fill the bar more slowly than the animal type specific treats. So you always want to give the right kind to each animal if you have them.

I love the new treat system. It's so much simpler than ANB, and I love having the gauge to tell how close each critter is to making extra product.
The regular treats seem pretty useless, though. I gave one to my angora rabbit the day I got it because I didn't have any rabbit treats yet, but since then, I've only given one other normal treat by accident.
I haven't unlocked alpacas, llamas, camels or goats yet. Does anyone know if they all take the baa-baa treats?

llamas take the baa-baa treats! they'll still run away from you though xD
but yeah, i don't even keep regular treats anymore - using the animal-specific ones seem to do just fine.

Feeding specific treats:
Cow: 106; Jersey: 114; Zebu: 202;
Sheep: 119; Suffolk: 122; Goat: 154;
Alpaca (both): 142;
Llama: 162;
Rabbit (both): 111;
Camel: 182;
Chicken: 119; Silkie: 122; Araucana: 130.
3 normal treats = 1 specific, more o less.
Edit: I forgot to specify it, but these are the number of treats to fill the bar. Also, a treat which is neither specific for that animal nor normal counts as half a normal.
Numbers taken from the japanese guide book.

Oh my. That's quite a lot of treats. Im a terrible mother. I haven't given my animals any treats and I am in year 2 spring. I hope they don't die too quickly like the starter animals in TOTT's.
