When you are spamming grass and/or sweet potatoes for unlocking the last country it usually takes a lot of time to pick the product up after harvesting/using the sickle. So just harvest the veggies and sickle the grass to make the little bin appear. Then go into your house and into edit farm mode. You can pick up the products left behind without time moving forward. Same goes for wool/milk/wood lying around.

TL;DR: Going into edit mode frezes time. Use this to pick up stuff on your farm without losing hours of just putting stuff into your bag.
Well, it "freezes" time in the same way that talking to people does. Things still move around. I went into edit mode while my animals were outside to rearrange the fences a bit, and when I was done, one of my cows was stuck outside. I was making the enclosure larger, so it definitely wandered out while invisible, and not, like, me accidentally cutting it off or something.

Super helpful tip from me: Each animal has a specific personality that randomly produces + products at high hearts, so if you save/reset while buying animals to get the right personality, you don't need to buy two of each of them and bring one to the safari, in order to make different clothes/blueprints. Also, save-scumming works on shearing, so if you're getting really impatient for your active goat to make some goat wool+, you can just reset until it does.

Is that a weird thing? I thought croquettes had meat in them.

I think the weird part is that the description mentions beef, even though we have no beef to use when making them.

You can do the same thing with fountains - you can run through them and use them to fill up your watering can!

Something someone else mentioned on this forum. I'm sorry I forgot who or I would mention their name :(

In order for your cat to recognize your bell you must talk to it while holding the bell. I had given up on playing with my cat because it seemed to lack the interest in the bell.

And they kill off large amount of grass. One time a typhoon left me with about 4 patched of grass out of about 50. :x

Yep that.
We knew about some recipes referring to meat but this one I hadn't seen brought up.

Plus Spring Rolls used to but no longer have meat in the description.

What do you mean used to? Is there a SoS patch I hadn't heard about or something?

I think the part that makes the beef in a recipe weird is the fact that past HM only used fish meat for cooking, I guess it would be way too morbid for such a cute game to make you get meat from your cows... :o

A few things I learned:
-If the horse gets in your way while milking/shearing, just go to the diary in the barn and move the horse to another. Barns are surprisingly cheaper in this game than in past HM games, so you can make one just for the horse if you need to (but there is a limit to how many barns you have, so keep that in mind)
-You don't need to take with you the stuff you want to ship! Press X while the shipping menu appears to select fridge, storage, tool chest, etc, click X again and you can browse through your storage!
-Hoard those Mystery Seeds! The star is a little dumb, but if you get a FireFlower, your crops level up, and if you get a SuperMushroom, all crops mature faster/produce extra (harvest the ones that grow back before picking it!!)
-Those secret jumping spots respawn!!
-Don't worry if a rented field expires on the day of a festival, but be sure to request it the day after!
-Most people know this, but plant flax, (and fertilize one crop) make new seeds for the higher rank ones, and turn the rest into gold linen, then gold cloth. Lots of $$$!
-Getting the number of processed stuff is a pain, but dried grass counts toward that number! I myself keep 3 crops of grass, which grows back without watering/fertilizing, just put it in the crop dryer!
-The coins can be used for vehicles!
-Two words: Edit Combos

lol I have too much free time  I think I know a few more, I'll let ya know as I discover more ^^

If you wand another player in multiplayer, you can hold B when you jump to fly! Just found that out in our MP session today!
