I've been trying to start arc 2, but nothing happens. I FINALLY found a page on it(sadly my campus blocks almost all of the helpful walkthrough sites and forums), and it says to trigger it after a week of finishing arc 1. Thing is, I finished arc 1 in the summer and I'm in the winter month now...Is it too late for me to trigger arc 2?

So, I'm suppose to wait a week after I talk to everybody each day? Or are you pretty much telling me to wait a week after finishing arc 1. Cause, it's been a whole month in game since I finish arc 1.

Let me try and detail my last post a little better:

Did you talk to Ventuswill to trigger the short cutscene with her, and did the guardians get their memories back? It doesn't matter when you do this after you've finished the first arc. There's no time restrictions of any sort, and you can't somehow screw up getting the 2nd arc.

After you do all that, go around and talk to everyone in the town. You don't need to do it multiple times or for multiple days. You just need to get their dialogue involving Ventuswill. If you've done all of the steps above, then:

Around a week later (I don't know if it's specifically 7 days, but you can just check daily to see if it triggers) go outside of the town by the south gate to trigger Forte yelling. The 2nd plot basically takes off from there.
