New Game - Harvest Moon: Seeds of Memories

I'm happy that it's going to be available on the WiiU but I'm worried about the quality since it's also going to be on Android/IOS.

Collecting the "Seeds of Memory" sounds very close to MM. If it's like MM then I might give it a try. If it's too much like TLV or HTS then I'll have no interest. I think we should wait to hear more news although before we judge the game.

I saw this on Facebook. I think the silhouettes of the main characters looked cool!

I just hate I don't have a Wii U. PC sounds cool though? My « Harvest Goddess », I haven't played a PC game since Roller Coaster Tycoon and the Sims...

Can't wait to hear more about this!

Edit: just kidding, maybe the silhouettes I saw weren't MCs, but whoever they were... I liked 'em.

You are so right. I just re-looked and I guess I saw the logo for Seeds of Memories right above them and assumed they were associated! I guess that explains why Naomi was interviewing them... ahem...

Well, being the second game in the series, I wouldn't be surprised if we find some returning characters.

Maybe those two new characters could serve as publicity/early cameos for this game.

From TLV, you mean? I'm pretty sure Natsume cannot use any characters from the original series.

And yay for consoles! But the whole "for IOS too!!!" makes me feel incredibly uneasy about the whole situation. TLV, in my mind, was really a dislikable and unpolished game. My expectations are quite low for their next game, but what goes on the IOS better be a parred down version. That or the content and graphics will be very lacking.

I'm glad that they are adding back in the staples that were not including into TLV (and what I was expecting to begin with with the whole "return to the classics" junk they were saying).

I'm assuming this won't have a Japanese version as well. No "Harvest Moon" namesake fanbase there.

Regardless, I'm looking forward to seeing more about the game, but I definitely have my reservations.

Yeah I mean from TLV (hence why I refer to this one as the "second" game in the series). It's entirely possible we'll see some returning characters (from TLV) in Seeds of Memories.

I just thought it would be cool if the new dlc characters for TLV actually came from whatever town SoM will take place in (I bet it'll be called Flowerbud Village). Kinda like reverse returning characters or something.

Its gonna be on steam? OK, that kills the PC version for me, since steam seems to think my laptop isnt connected to the internet when it always is. But I may go ahead and try the android version if it doesn't cost too much.

My understanding is that they are trying to release on Steam but it's "no promises" right now because the Steam publication process is incredibly rigorous.

welp almost all PC game nowadays was released on steam, no wonder natsume will release on steam for PC ver.

Currently scared to get my hopes up, as I didn't seem to be too interested in TLV, but I've been waiting for a Wii U game. Maybe they'll surprise me? The 10 marriage candidates seem nice. I really missed larger casts, and since we've only seen handheld versions lately, we've missed out on that a bit.

Not sure if you know: It's 5 bachelors and 5 bachelorettes for total of "10 marriage candidates". Kind of the typical number.

I hope the WiiU has a physical copy and not download only...

Reading the comments, it looks like they're also aiming for GOG.com - that's probably what I'll do.

PC makes it intriguing, but I'm still leery. TLV was very very miss. I'll wait and see.
