Trouble with Raeger's event

I've got Raeger up to a red flower and have seen all events through yellow, and given him the ring. His pink flower event will not trigger. The site says sunny days, not Wednesday, from 11 til 21, but it won't start. He only says the 'get out of the kitchen' phrase when I talk to him. Glitch or am I missing something? Thanks.
