Help triggering Luke's second love event?

I have this guy up to 95% chemistry, have done eight of his ten requests, and have everything necessary for marriage (second house upgrade, queen bed, table + chairs) to boot, but so far I've only seen his first love event. It's driving me crazy! irulethegalaxy was awesome enough to outline his events on the third page of the "New DLC Bachelor/Bachelorette" thread, but I can't seem to get the second one to trigger. Here's what I've been trying:

"You'll find Luke appearing in and on one of Gilbert's days to be in the valley, this event takes place with him. This is why it took me so long to get it triggered, I was ignoring my other uncompleted chemistry quests in favor of getting Luke finished...so I wasn't visiting Gilbert/Tabitha during their Valley days! I've tried several times to visit the valley when Gilbert is wandering (Tuesday and Wednesday evenings) and talk to him, but nothing happens. I also tried talking to Luke instead, and still the event won't trigger. I even visited Gilbert on a day he was at the Harvest Goddess Spring, but still no luck.

I'd really appreciate it if someone could point out what I'm doing wrong. Or, if these are more of a random thing, is there any way to increase my chances of it occuring? Thank you in advance!

UPDATE (sorry - I don't know how to edit the original post): I just realized they might have meant Gareth, not Gilbert. However, I'm still not having any luck. I've approached Gareth and Luke on numerous days (I thought Wednesday would work for sure, since they're both in the valley in the evening on that day) and it still won't trigger! Please help if you can.

Go to the Harvest Spring on Saturday night when Gareth is there.

Thank you both so much! I totally forgot that Gareth came to the valley on Saturdays - I was only trying Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays. Problem solved!
