Fertilizer Recipes?

How do I unlock fertilizer recipes? I assume that I need to do requests for someone?
I am at Spring of year 2 working on getting Autumn back

You are right with your assuming.
If you complete April´s and Iris´ requests, they will reward you with different recipes for fertilizers.

Getting the *item marked with a spoiler* actually doesn't have anything to do with the quests that obtain fertilizer. Check your quest log; there are a couple of categories. The ones marked with ! are the storyline/story progression quests. I don't think you'll need to have much at all unlocked to actually produce the items for those quests. If you're just looking for the Blessed Seeds, there's a request chain you'll follow to find them.
