Yeah, seriously...the first thing that came to mind was HayDay, which is an okay game, but not the Harvest Moon experience I want. And I can't figure out how the real time aspect would work with a consosle. A phone device or even a computer (I'm assuming you could sign into an account), but a home console like the Wii? I'm away from home 10 hours a day, there's no way that I could realistically keep up with a real-time game. Unless maybe time only passes when the game is active?

*sigh* I guess we'll have to wait and see!

Well, I don't think they'll add that feature to the WiiU game, but even if they do... It's not the first time the series has done it.

Harvest Moon GB did it, it was optional, and it worked. At least until you forgot about it and then suddenly a whole in-game year passed.

Hopefully you are right... it would be a waste if only I could play at night because of work.

It was a real turn down for me when I played Animal Crossing and I always came home late and could not go to the shop. Hated it. In the end I changed the clock setting of my console so that I could play normally. But I hated it.

But on a side note, I'm really happy the wizard is a marriage candidate!

I always figured that on time-dependent games like AC it is NOT cheating to set your clock according to your schedule, as long as you're not flipping it around. AC actually made it WAAAY too easy to cheat this time around LOL.

I really want to love this game, and I want it to be popular so Natsume continues making HM games, but...multi-platform game on such different consoles makes me worry. They're spreading themselves awful thin, and what makes a great console game and what makes a...well, acceptable, because iOS is a cruddy platform for games...game are very different things. Unless they are making two rather different version (a real time time management game and a traditional HM "day" basked game), I can't see how it's gonna work.

I think personally it works better on iOS/online games. That being said I'm a little biased probably because between depression and having « Puppy Doodoo » memory I will forget what I'm doing in the middle of it ((as well as no concept of time 99% of the time because every time I push it I have terrible panic/anxiety attacks)) it would be a HUGE turn off for me and I probably wouldn't buy it. Basically I know I have personal reason I hate the idea and my views don't encompass what makes a game good or not.
