So I'm finally playing Rune Factory 3 for the first time

Hello everyone, so I'm finally playing Rune Factory 3 for the first time and I was wondering if there is anything I should know before starting the game? Is this game pretty similar with the controls like Rune Factory 4 or is there some stuff that are different?

As it's an earlier title, stuff like the forging, cooking and crafting systems don't have their more complex mechanics. iirc the controls are pretty much the same from 1-4 and the differences are really small. Nothing major, just stuff like button shortcuts and quality-of-life adjustments like being able to stack certain types of items or the ability to auto-arrange your inventory with the X button. Out of all four games RF3 is the most similar to RF4. You'll be just fine, I think.
