I've been looking around the net to find a solution to heaven's gate in rune factory 4. I saw some people say after you go to the inn and barret , xio pai, and and illuminata talk with you about heaven's gate and barret gives you the ring, you have to wait 1-3 days and they would tell you more about the heaven's gate and how you defeat it, but I have waited for 5-7 days and nothing happens. The MC(im a girl) says I have to go to heaven's gate and bring leon back to help save vetuswill.
I've gone to heaven's gate a few times to defeat it, but I always seem to die by the monsters. I've read that each color represents a thing. Like purple is poison etc. and I need to do the opposite to that and hit the thing in the middle, but each time I do that, I die from the monsters! Can someone please help~

The heavens gate is a little tricky. Focus on the gate when you can (I only use one type of weapon and when that weapon isn't effective then I focus on the monsters until the gate changes colors again) I personally use the strongest dual blades that I can make and just keep hacking away. Make sure you bring a lot of food and stuff to eat. If you can't get through them level yourself up for a bit and work on getting better weapons/armor and try again. Also it helps if you move a lot while attacking the gate, that way its harder for the monsters to attack.

what would be the best food to bring?

Anything that can restore HP and RP. However what works best is any kind of dessert (cake, pudding, cookie, etc.) Also fried rice, and grilled fish do just nicely too. If you want something really simple to cook then bring a LOT of Onigiri/baked onigiri, you only need rice to cook it, then shove it in the oven to make it baked Onigiri and your set.
