Question about Animal Care

Hey guys, I have a question about caring for my animals:

Every day I skip my animal chores (With the exception of my chickens, treats and "petting") and do my brushing, shearing and milking in the online multiplayer environment. My question is if I do that, does the affection that I gain with them in that specific environment transfer over into my game, or would I have to brush, shear and milk in my actual game to get their affection to go up?

Does anyone have any experience with this? I can't seem to get my Jersey cow's affection to go up no matter what I do. I know they're more finicky than regular cows and I had no issues getting a full heart meter with my Yak. Same with my Suffolk sheep; my Llama and Alpacas (both brown and white) seem to be gaining affection, but not the Suffolk sheep?

Yes, the affection you gain in the multi-player environment transfers over, as does milking, shearing, and brushing, so you can't re-milk and re-shear and all that in single-player.

As for your Jersey cows and Suffolk sheep, I assume that their stress levels are fine since you take them to multi-player every day, but could there be a possibility that you're doing something that negatively affects their friendship? Negative actions do more damage to Jerseys' and Suffolks' friendships than regular livestock just as positive actions do less good for their friendship. Also, how long have you had these animals?

If you've already checked all of that stuff and I'm telling you something you already know, all I can suggest is be patient. Unfortunately, I've only just gotten through my first year in ANB and have yet to unlock Jerseys or Suffolks (until Fall of my first year, I completely overlooked the fact that you can unlock those kinds of livestock by yourself instead of waiting around), so I can't give you my own personal experience, just the basics.
