When i first got the game, I was deciding between Allen or Rod. My bf said to go for Allen so I did.
Im currently married to them both in the game.

I'm playing for the first time and I'm after wedding with Felicity. We are also with a child.
Why her? At the beginning I wanted to be with Michelle, but then I found out that she isn't a sweet girl as I thought. She's evil and sneaky. And since I didn't want to wait for WP, Tina is like a 5 year old, I had to chose between Felicity and Iroha. Feli was more compelling to me.

Neil. His purple heart event captivated me and I fell in love with him.

They are in my top 4 bachelors of Harvest moon games (HK, Skye, Allen and Soseki in no particular order lol)

Neil because he seemed cool and was easy to befriend

Michelle I heard of her events and decided to see them for myself. I was not disappointed in the slightest

Neil I knew I liked before the game even came out, and then once the town started expanding I realized I liked Soseki, too.

Sanjay <3 I just love guys like him - I married Ivan in Grand Bazaar for the same reasons - but I love Sanjay even more because of how he's cared for Amir for so long (I have a bit of a thing for the master/servant dynamic). I admit I get a bit annoyed when I'm dating him and instead of congratulating me when I win a festival, he starts talking about how excited Amir was, but it's fun to date someone who makes me feel both happy and mad, since Harvest Moon characters can be rather one-dimensional sometimes. Sanjay is a darling even in marriage, he's so sweet and cute, and his character portrait when he's wearing a tuxedo is gorgeous.

*cough* Anyway, if I play a boy file, I'll probably go for Yuri but the more I get to know everyone in the village, the more I like Tina and Felicity as well. They're both such adorable girls, but Yuri is very sweet too.

I'd like to say that if I ever played as a girl again, I'd marry Amir, but I don't think I would. I adore Sanjay far too much, I wouldn't be able to overlook him! I would like to marry Amir sometime, but for me, in Grand Bazaar he was overshadowed by the local tutor, and in A New Beginning he's overshadowed by his own butler. He really is great though, and I find him to be childlike in a cute way when put next to Sanjay.

I married Iroha, but I don't really remember why. I either liked her personality, or thought she was easier to marry.

I married Neil in my first file. I waited until I had unlocked everyone and seen their available heart events before committing, and it was between him and Rod. Then I realized he's a jerk, but since I had had him for so long he was at a red heart, and I didn't want to work on getting his heart color down so I could break up with him, so I married him and realized he's an even bigger jerk after marriage.

I've been reluctant to start a new file up until now, but I might if I have time, and then start as a boy. If so, I'm thinking about going for Felicity, but I'll probably do it like with my first file and see everyone's heart events before deciding.

I went with Neil because I loved the alternative style he had going on. That and I just thought he was better imo, than the rest of the bachelors.
That and he was very very easy to befriend.

Allen. I just fell in love with him when I saw his image at the website. Plus, the purple heart event made me crazy about him~~
