They unlock at the same time, but who is better?

I like both honestly.
But if I have to choose I would say Sanjay. I just prefer his design over Amir.
Along with his comforting personality.

Well I'm not sure if we can say either is better than the other, they have different personalities that would appeal to different people, but ...

I much prefer Sanjay. I'm married to him right now and he's just the sweetest, most darling husband. His dialogue always makes me smile; despite what I said earlier, I feel almost as if the only reason not to marry him is his stupid red heart dialogue which I'm guessing I was not alone in tempting me to throw my 3DS - you know, that bit about being 'capable of guiding Master Amir to happiness'. ARGH. While I was waiting for him to ask me out, I avoided that dialogue once I unlocked it because I felt like I was in a cliché anime situation where the guy is oblivious to the girl liking him and she's about to punch him and yell at him. Everybody else's red heart dialogue is like, 'Oh, thank you for being such a great friend!' and his is ????.

A lot of his dating dialogue is him talking about Amir too but I felt much more understanding once I watched his green heart event. It's even called, 'Sanjay and the Female Mind'! It was a really good way of bringing a sort of conclusion to the conflict his dialogue can incite in the player. I still rolled my eyes at his festival dialogue whenever I won ('Master Amir was so happy it was like he was the boyfriend, not me.'), but I get that it's a part of his personality to be like that. He doesn't mention Amir much at all once I married him. Besides, his proposal is so adorable. I showed it to my friend who doesn't play Harvest Moon and even they melted over it. He proposed to me early Winter, so his dialogue during the Pumpkin Festival was doubly touching for me! ('If we married and had children, we would have to make sure we built the best candy house for them ... Oh I'm sorry, I'm getting ahead of myself.') I felt that, wooing him, there was a really nice arc instead of it just being me giving him gifts until he asks me out.

But I guess I haven't dated/married anyone else so idk if all the other bachelor/ettes are equally in-depth. I've heard Neil, at least, is not :p

I like Amir a great deal as well, though. Admittedly, probably because of Sanjay, and I'm surprised by how involved Sanjay is in Amir's life as well if you date Amir, but I don't think it's as bad as how it is with Sanjay, even though Amir does talk about him a lot. I think that Amir, put next to Sanjay, seems somewhat childish, and I can't say I quite like his design (the contrast between his neutral expression and his happy expression is startling), but I know he has his own charms as a somewhat lordly and distant prince who will eventually warm up to the player once he gets to know them. He's a somewhat sad person about being a prince and his precious little sister, but that adds to his depth too.


tl;dr um, Sanjay, obviously now the only post that needs to be made is one about Amir

I think Amir is cuter, but Sanjay has a wonderful heart.
