I didn't see it as having us decide for you. I saw it as you need help deciding. Sorry if that sounds weird.

She was more just asking for our opinions on the bachelors. No need to scare her away.
And as to the /actual/ topic of this post, welcome to ANB. If you ever need anything, I'd be glad to help out as best as I can. Happy farming!

Ok cool. Don't worry animal crossing community website is far more scary. Harvest Moon website is breathe of fresh air compared.
People on here are way more nicer than AC. With out a doubt.
@RobotKitty5848
It's cool. I'm giving Neil fodder... He's the only bachelor available so far lol. Going to try to unlock the rest of the bachelors see what Rod & Allen are like!
Happy Gaming! (^_^)

Ahh ok. If you do end up going for Allen I can help you, since I am able to make his favorite gift (Genovese Pasta). Rod's and Neil's are a lot harder to get

I don't know if anything I mention is a spoiler, but it takes up a lotta room so spoiler tags ahoy.
Spoiler:
This is the cheat-sheet/game-plan I drew up for my personal use in woo-ing bachelors.
I enjoy flavor text, so I like unlocking as much as possible. If it's unhelpful, I'll delete my post.
Neil - Unlocked from... early spring year 1 practically the beginning of the game EH
Easy Early +300: Fodder
Easy Maintainable +500: Silkie Eggs
Favorite Gift +800: Shrimp Chili [never used it, received recipe from fishing I think??]
Notes: Silkie chickens don't unlock until like year 2, or unless you have... 10[max] chickens in your coop or something? But I could give you a silkie egg or a few to hatch for early infinite silkie eggs, if you'd like.
Allen - Unlocked by starting Town Plan #2 and building the Salon
Easy Early +300: Uh... wow I dunno. HerbSoup just too easy, man.
Easy Maintainable +500: dat Herb Soup
Favorite Gift +800: Genovese Pasta [never used it, but I found it mining today awyeee]
Notes: Herb Soup is in Basic Soup Recipes, obtainable at the beginning of the game from Hana's Genral Store. [easymodo]
Rod - Town Plan #3, build the Cottage
Easy Early +300: All bugs, except for bees
Easy Maintainable +500: Fried Rice Ball
Favorite Gift +800: Lasagna [never used it, never found it]
Notes: Fried Rice Ball is a recipe that unlocks in like... Fall of your first year? Hmhm.
Soseki - Town Plan #4, Eastern-style House
Easy Early +300: Bamboo Shoots
Easy Maintainable +500: Turnip Stew, Bouillabaisse, or Old Coin
Favorite Gift +800: Eel Rice Bowl
Notes: Once you've found the Bouillabaisse recipe, it's easiest imo to upkeep. It comes fffrom... mining also I think? Turn tiny +300 fish into +500 fo' free yo. Otherwise, stockpile turnips and old coins from fish traps I guess?? Iunno!
Sanjay - Town Plan #5, Exotic Mansion
Easy Early +300: Mint, Lavender, Chamomile, etc [herrrbs]
Easy Maintainable +500: Herb Salad
Favorite Gift +800: Herb Pasta
Notes: Herb Salad is unlocked by buying Basic Fried Recipes[Spring 12 Yr 1], which unlocks Hana's Recipe #9[Herb Salad]. Herb Pasta looks easy to make too, though. The recipe is a festival prize, so maybe keep an eye out for it while working up to Town Plan #5 I guess?
Amir - ditto^
Easy Early +300: Moondrop Flowers
Easy Maintainable +500: Turnip Stew/Shredded Daikon
Favorite Gift +800: Stew?
Notes: Turnip Stew is obtained by buying Basic Soup Recipe[HERBSOUPWHOO] which unlocks Hana's Recipe #2[Turnip Stew], which should/can carry you through half the year maybe if you plaaan. Then there's Shredded Daikon, which is unlocked by buying Basic Pot Recipes [Winter Yr 1], which then unlocks Hana's Recipe #6[Shredded Daikon].
Also, apparently Amir ditches for the entire Fall season each year, unless/until you marry him.
...oh right, also, uh...
Spoiler:
As for my opinion on who's the best one...
Amir and Sanjay are kinda borrring[imo], just being uh... blandly nice, and mildly laid back?
Still, they have their... prince thing and their... ancient ruins and tea... thing... ehhh...
I liked much better the extremes of how Rod is overflowing with that-nice-boy-next-door energy, Neil is tsundere as all get-out, Soseki's hilarious mix of overly lax and 'nuuu I'm old and decrepit man horf', and finally Allen's plain all out buttfacery.
I married Allen because I can't stop imagining him saying all his ridiculous things in flat-out deadpan, which evokes an ambivalence of wanting to laugh and punch him at the same time.
Secondly, I have never played SoS, for I am fairly broke.
Somedaaay.
