I'm going to guess it's probably Dwyer, but since she only said it and didn't show screenshots, so I'm not too sure. I kind of like it actually, since I wasn't a fan of the name Deere lol. They also showed Selkie on the stream and omggg she's so damn cute x_x

I agree overall with the opinions that Nintendo did not handle this well. Just proves my paranoia point, they WANTED us to freak out, get opinionated and overall keep talking about it up til the release date for free publicity.

I am so happy we still get the support bonuses and even minor touching. I don't like scratching my screen too much but I still feel they should have put in an option to disable/enable it. I will be looking up the videos and translations of any lewd, hilarious comments still. I must know everything they said :-).

It took me this long to respond due to trying to finish Awakening before Fates.

I look forward to playing multiplayer, asking for answers to be explained in "pokemon" form, not math, and discussing everything that makes us go, "Squeeeeee!". (Pokemon form means what is super effective and when to "evolve").

I will be still lurking but I need to stop watching stream videos so as to not spoil any more gameplay but so far I did find a few youtubers that will cover the game. GameXplain and then I just discovered justonegamr did ALL the conversations, even some from the DLC. Hopefully that person or similar will do that eventually. In case we can't keep playing over and over.

Welp, there's allegations that swimsuits were removed from accessory shop based on one GameExplain vid.

Nothing's confirmed as far as I know but rofl gamefaqs is on FIRING ANGER right now.

So I finally watched the Gamespot stream video...man...that was rough. lol
It was entertaining at least.

They showed off a lot of stuff, and I love Silkie's voice. She's friggin adorable. I love Takumi more and more everytime I see him, and Silas is cute, haha. It seems a lot of people don't like Kana's voice...? I think it's cute, but then again, I'm extremely lax with Eng voices.

As I was saying on Twitter, I don't honestly care about the swimsuits personally so it doesn't bother me (didn't use the feature) but it sucks for those who did want them. I can understand people being upset over it.

Another day, another Fates controversy though :p Let's see what else pops up on this roller coaster in the last week before launch!

Awww, but I want my swimsuits. Well if it's true I'll just have to look them up after I finish the games.

But in the meantime I'll go read some (hopefully funny) anger rants about it. :-D

Another reason for me posting again is because I forgot to ask a "stupid" question or few.

Is the fire emblem if sale only apply if you paid full price for either a physical or digital version? And what is the full price on eshop? About 4000 yen? Lastly, how many blocks or GB is required for each game? Could a 32 gb micro sdhc card hold it plus have room for other games?

The total amount of room JPN Fates takes is around 3 gig, so you'll be fine with a card that big.


It shows up as 5,076yen on the eshop (I just checked) which is about ~$45 US dollars. If you want to get the other 2 paths, you will have to pay (while the sale goes on until the 29th) 1,000 additional yen per route, so a total of 7,076 yen or ~$63 US dollars.

The bath towel has the same bonus (+1 damage when in other castles) so the only real loss is not being able to ogle your characters in their swimsuits. I'm seeing misinformation spread around that they replaced it with the bath towel, but the bath towel is also in the JPN version. They just cut out the swimsuits for the localized version.

Edit: Okay, I just looked at my file and I forgot some of the swimsuits did have some more damage increases, so I was a bit wrong on that. Unfortunately it looks like there's nothing that took their place. The outrage makes a tiny bit more sense now, but the swimsuits only go up to +2 damage total, so the real loss is kind of negligible imo. Especially if the love swimsuit is still in the game which is also +2.

If there aren't any bathing suits, what does this mean for the beach DLC? I mean, it's not the same thing, but I'm curious. Even if nothing is confirmed, I'm curious.

Pretty sure bathing suits are for not oggling younger *coughchildrencough* units.
