Hello,
So I have reached the bottom of the mine several times. The first time I reached the bottom the Harvest Goddess did give me a Wonderful. Every time (several more times in that "Game Year's" Winter and now my first attempt in the next) I reach the bottom now the Harvest Goddess tells me that we celebrated earlier today and to try again tomorrow. She has also not given me any recipes.
I cannot find an answer to this issue anywhere and I am hoping it is not a glitch. Thank you!

I think it's permanent though I've never experienced it myself (yet lol)

and here is one part that answers your question
"WARNING!! Before attempting multiple trips and Wonderfuls, you should know: it is possible to GLITCH your mine in a potentially permanent way, through a unique and uncommon situation. If you finish the mine *after* midnight on one day, and *before* (the next) midnight on the next day, the Harvest Goddess will tell you that “[You] already celebrated today. Come back tomorrow!” Basically, the clock actually does read the same calender day at the end of both trips. If you save after this you will never be able to get a Wonderful from the mine again -- she will always tell you this! It is recommended that you reload and back out of the mine without finishing, as there is no known way to fix this after the fact.
I have made many trips through the mine, and amazingly never had this happen; my best advice is to simply be aware of the possibility and avoid the above scenario. This does not seem to affect trips made the same game day, as I made several of those, because technically, the first one is completed when the game clock reads one day, and the other the next day--"before and after", as opposed to "after and before"."
