OK, so I'm about to start fall of my first year, and just unlocked Rod. Which means I'm going to need bottles soon for the makers. Are the fish traps the only way to get bottles? Or is there another place? Thank you.

Yeah, I had the most luck with fish traps if I remember correctly... which still wasn't very much luck. I remember having a hard time hoarding up my bottles in ANB! So just keep trying with your fish traps all around the forest area, wherever there are spots for them. I think I had several going at once and I'd keep running around checking them all.

Thanks for that. I think I'll take my chances with the fish traps. For some reason, the fishing in this game drives me mental. And I normally love fishing in HM!

Yes I know but I'm trying to do this on my own. It's bad enough that I seem to be exploiting multiplayer (if that's even a thing) for profit. Besides, I'm too shy to ask for anything and I don't have anything to trade with people. Plus, I'm guessing with my time zone would make it a bit difficult to trade.

yeah bottles are a « Baaaa *glomp* » to get in this game so make sure you hoard as many as you can. even if you don't use them to make makers, I believe they're needed to make some other things you might want for the gardening festival or whatever else
