Grape trees not producing fruit?

I was sure I planted two grape trees in my orchard in my summer of last game year, but it didn't produce any fruit at all. I am now in fall of my current year, and I have yet to harvest any grapes at all. I haven't seen any blooms on it, and I was sure they were grape trees when I planted them.
Has anyone ever encountered a fruit tree not producing fruit?

Yes, i know this "phenomenon" from my mango- and bananatrees. I planted them at the ending of the last summer and that didn't work until beginning of the next.
But there has been a good ending, in the middle of the season(or maybe a bit later) they began to bloom and had fruits a few days after. But why they needed so long for beeing harvestable, I don't know. Maybe it's because of winter, in these cold day they maybe won't grow?

What kind of plot did you plant them on? I'm pretty sure the lower quality ones can effect the growth rate of your trees. I always try to wait until I have the highest quality soil before planting trees for this reason, it can get annoying.

I planted them in the soil plots. I waited to plant all of my trees until I had the soil plots done
