Hi you,
I've one more question.
I'm using fertilizer on my crops to get 5 star Quality, but it seems, that the fertilizer works good in the beginning but not anymore, when they reached 3 oder 4 star Level.
So, how does the fertilizer work in particular?
(I'm still in summer 02 and not able to build the combo for the seedmaker yet. )

AND do you know, how often a crop must be wanded (Multiplayer) to get one more half star?

From what I've gathered, fertilizer affects the crops like this:

Star rank => Added quality from fertilizer
0.5 to <3 => 5
3 to <5 => 3
5 => 1

Quality vs. star rank of an item is listed below:

0 to 29 => 0 stars
30 to 59 => 0.5 star
60 to 89 => 1 star
90 to 119 => 1.5 stars
120 to 149 => 2 stars
150 to 179 => 2.5 stars
180 to 209 => 3 stars
210 to 239 => 3.5 stars
240 to 269 => 4 stars
270 to 299 => 4.5 stars
300 and above => 5 stars

Thanks a lot for your help :D

So I have one more question:
If someone's wanding (multiplayer), how much starpoints does it bring to the quality? Also to the animals heartpoints?

Star Rank and Points work identically to ANB with one odd exception that you may run into at higher levels. Harvested crops will average Star Points among crops at the same Star Rank/Level, which can be negated by harvesting and processing your fertilized crop separately from the others. (Also, there are no terraces in SoS, of course.)

Wanding- each wand gives 2.5 Star Points per swing, so you'd need two people to wand each crop 60 times to increase it to cap, which is 300 points. The more people you have actively participating, the fewer full sessions you'll need. This is also almost the only way to raise the (hidden) star rank of Fodder Grass and Bamboo (which gives off Shoots in Spring). The second way involves the Fire Flower Mario Crop, and I consider it to be unreliable.

Wanding animals ONLY reduces stress, it does not add affection.
