I'm in Autumn Y1. But when I look at the stuff I already have I feel like I'm too advanced, and going towards the end after which there isn't much else to do than farm. Perhaps it is due to seedling mode?
I have 4 vendors unlocked.
I can upgrade to golden tools if I want, but I'm waiting to do so.
I have the second house upgrade.
I've seen almost all rival and flower events with which I wanted to wait, including the ones of my future partner whom I don't plan on dating yet.
I had the seedmaker build before spring ended, in summer came the sewing studio.
And many of my animals are nearing maxed hearts.
Highest crop is 1,5 star though.
Nearing the end?
It could be a seedling mode issue. I don't believe I got my seed maker until the end of summer in normal mode. There's a lot of stuff that you need to ship a certain amount of money to unlock new items from vendors, you need to ship 500 of a regular crop in order to unlock its gold version, and there's a lot of stuff that just won't unlock until after a certain amount of time has passed. If I'm not mistaken, the last time-locked thing becomes available in year 4 at some point. And as Getaris said, unlocking the last two vendors is quite a chore, particularly tropical country. It's made a LOT easier in seedling mode, but it will still take some effort and planning.

Woah! That's quite some progress! I play on original mode and casual play so I didn't have so much during my Year 1. You can start hoarding stuffs for the last two vendors and safari expansion. And I think you can upgrade your hammer to get some nice ores for house upgrade.
There are plenty of stuffs to be unlocked in this game, in addition to get all fish,
