Thanks :D Whoa. I have now looked those two up, to see who they were. Bachelor styles sure have changed over the games, haven't they? Having only played ANB and SoS entirely (plus 4 bells-worth of AP and a tiny bit each of ToTT and GB), I'm used to a more...I'm not sure how to say it. A prettier but narrower, less unusual style. I wonder what a bachelor with facial hair in one of the newest games would look like. (Maybe I should try drawing a goatee on Klaus, in Photoshop, lol.)

EDIT: Okay, couldn't resist. Unfortunately I really don't understand drawing, and that includes digital, so I wasn't able to make it blend in in a natural way, but...this sort of gives the Klaus-with-goatee look? I know, I didn't do it right. Maybe I should try again. (But I really don't understand how to make two-dimensional images look realistic, so I'm not sure I can do any better. I think there needs to be some kind of shading, but I can't think of how to do it.)

Klaus with a goatee is strangely fitting, IMO. I usually consider myself as someone who's not really into facial hair (even though I like Gustafa and Griffin from HMDS,) but, I have to admit, I can't seem to stop staring at goatee-Klaus .

Yes, Shan...there are highly customizable paintbrushes in Photoshop. But I'm far more used to editing photos than graphics so all I did was 'magic wand' a portion of his hair, copy it, move it down to his chin, then adjust the size and angle and then dodge the edges a little to try to blend it in, then add a tiiiiny bit of streaking to try to make it look less flat. I'm afraid the blending-in part wasn't as smooth as I'd like, because it need some shading to make it look more natural. But I'm no good at shading because it takes real understanding of how to make 2D things look 3D, and I'm lacking that understanding. But it tends to look the worst to the person who did it, since I know exactly what bits don't look quite right, I think. I'm happy if it looks okay to you guys I think it does at least give a decent idea of Klaus with facial hair. He DOES look kind of handsome that way, right? A little more of a wicked gentleman than the straight-laced look his has without it.

I hope you get your candidate with facial hair, Wizard Molly.

Darn, you guys, now I have to try to do Neil with facial hair. Lol. Don't make me curious like that! Okay, off I go to find a good image of him...

Oh man, it looks SO BAD. I tried just a goatee, but that looked WORSE. It made him look like an underaged satyr or something. So I tried something closer to a beard, lol. Urgh. This is the best I can do, but even someone with actual skill who could have blended it into his chin properly probably still couldn't make this look good. Neil...just doesn't seem to be the beard type. His face is too small to incorporate the beard without eating his entire face so I had to let it sprout out of the very edge. See for yourself...

Griffin is one of the most attractive bachelors, IMO. Not 100% into Gustafa's hippy thing, but would probably pick him if I plaid DSC or AnWL (or maybe Marlin...too bad I can't marry Darryl </3)
