Explore Lulukoko, Tsukuyusa, and Westown in this multi-cultural farming game for Nintendo 3DS. [ Game Guide ] JP release = Jun 2016. NA release = Feb 2017. EU release = Oct 2017.
^ same thought upon seeing the preview: So many kids! Not complaining though. But I do hope that they don't have similar personalities (like, they're all bubbly and cheerful and cutesy); varied personalities or gimmicks would be nice.
The pop-up dialogues/passerby comments remind me of the chatbox feature in MMORPGs
maybe they are the town mayor with his child? since there 3 child, with 3 man together + new old couples from tsuyuksa
kinda sad because there is no female town mayor, because i really like Ina, and Veronica... maybe because female town mayor already appeared on previous game? so they decide not to make female town mayor, idk
the scan isnt full yet, usually they took 4-8 pages, so... new marriage candidates still possible... (please give us merman/wizard lol, even though its kinda impossible)

The way Trio is shaping up feels different to me than previous games I've played in the series. Before it's always disconnected individuals for some reason living in the town you can visit, far away from any family they might have...but this time they all feel like they're rooted in these places, with actual families. Before it always felt a little like you were living in a town of exile where people could come to get to know each other but almost all started out as relative strangers...this time it feels more like a community. (Well, three communities.) It's a nice feeling. Sorry if what I said didn't make sense, though...I'm not sure how to word my feeling accurately.
In general... Just keep in mind that secret, magical, and/or returning marriage candidates have been revealed after the game comes out in the past, so if there is a surprise like that, it will probably not be revealed until the game's release date or later (officially). I mean, I'm having to remind myself of that a lot because I'm already hung up on one potential candidate. XD
Some people thought the Neil-like guy was one of the vendors, but it doesn't match up, IMO. Portrait-less NPCs do attend Festivals in SoS, but that doesn't seem to be the case in 3T so far from what I have seen.
I agree, Kikki! I like that everyone has strong family or close friend ties in this game... and that the friends & families are actually present. None of that "my fiancé/boyfriend who I talk about constantly to keep you from proposing to me and who will also never appear in town" business this time around, I hope!

That little popup does seem to be a "passerby comment" which is crazy to me, not sure if I've seen any game do this before? I'm sure at least one has... Mostly that kind of stuff is audible, with voice actors.
I wonder how repetitive the dialogue is. Adding that kind of thing can be annoying if there isn't a lot of variety.
Disney's Magical World did that (also has farming in it). I'm fairly certain another sim-like game has done it, but I can't think of it.
