With all of these kids I'm disappointed there doesn't seem to be a school in any of the towns. I know Kasumi works at one but it's out of town. I do love how lively the towns are going to be due to the amount of people. We actually have more than one full family for once, not that I have anything against single parents. I'm hoping we get another tan candidate because I feel kind of cheated. The twins may have different personalities but looking the same adds no variety and we only have one tan guy. If they're going to bring back a candidate I wish they'd bring ones with less natural hair colors. Pink hair, white hair, doesn't matter to me. I can't shake the feeling that we need more candidates...

We're getting ever closer to the Japanese release, so soon all of our questions will be answered.

Whoa! Like really!?

I doubt they'd have a playable Japanese demo, but the localization seems to be much more fast this time. I mean I shouldn't be surprise we might get 3oT faster, soon after SoS released Xseed did announce it was their fastest selling game and Xseed put out a lot of localized titles.

Everything looks a lot smoother than SoS! They're definitely improving! I'm soooo excited!

It's not good to be a party pooper, but at the same time, getting hopes up too high tends to create a pretty big crash if they end up falling. I'm not sure that trailer means they're very far along at all in localization. They didn't show a single line of translated dialogue there. And it wouldn't take all that long to translate enough just for a demo, either, even if they do have a playable English demo at E3. Well, we know it's coming out in 2017 (if XSEED is to be believed, and I don't have a reason not to) and I see no reason think that it would be pushed back to 2018 (I don't suspect that at all) and decent reason to hope it'll be released in the first quarter...but I'm not going to let myself think it could be out any sooner than the start of 2017, at this point, super convenient though it would be for me if it came out more to the end of this year than the beginning of next due to spring and summer being incredibly busy on the ol' homestead. (Mine, I mean...not the game's.) If it really were to come out in January, for example, that'd be pretty darned fast. SoS was 13 months after Japanese release and that would be only 6-7 months for Trio. If it does come out any time in the first quarter, I'll be pretty happy. (But my actual guess is March. Nine-ish months is still pretty decent...January sounds a little too good to be true.)

I'm glad they pushed forward fast enough to get Trio to E3, though. This year's E3 seems super boring...I'm interested in a grand total of three of the games being shown there, that I know of. Games like Story of Seasons are severely underrepresented, as far as I can tell. I guess they're just nowhere near the kind of big seller that other series tend to be.

I hope that eagle glued to the MCs head was a pet, too, because I'd much rather have a bird as a pet than a dog or cat or hamster

I'm going to guess the Eagle is a Wild Animal Friend. That being said, I hope an Owl returns in some capacity as well. One of the best pet choices ever. I also remember when you could tame any Wild Animals... *cough*Animal Parade*cough*

So, my private guessing metric for the release date based on E3 was that if whatever playable build XSEED has isn't in English, it will be 12-15 Months from the Japanese release date, lowering down to as low as 9-10 months depending on just how much English is present (or not at all, if it is an independent demo, which could be rushed through for the show floor. There was one of those for SoS). My life mottos are "Prepare for the worst, but hope for the best!" and "All things are probable, just not possible.", after all.

I do hope someone sneakily fims themself playing whatever it is they have. We haven't seen ANY footage of a person just playing freely yet. Everything has been carefully controlled by the PR department. This close to the initial release, that is somewhat concerning in and of itself.

I wouldn't be surprised if it does take a whole year or the same 13 months as last time. It'd feel like a looooong wait, probably, but it is a massive load of translation. I can't remember how many lines of dialogue they said they had to translate last time but it was something terrifying like 5000 pages or something, lol. (I really can't remember the exact thing I read, just that it was an eye-popping amount that had to be translated.) March 2017 is my most optimistic but still not absurd hope. I don't like to have absurd hopes...it's not worth the disappointment.

EDIT: Yeah, I'd love an owl. I might actually like pets if I could have an owl. Or a turtle. It'd have to ride on your head too, because a turtle running along side you like a dog...

Is anyone else excited that we don't have to stand on a dock to go fishing in this game. I really hope they kept the swimming feature otherwise I'll be really bummed. Has there been any news on future bachelors because it looks kinda empty on their side. I'm loving the graphics. I hope they took away the villagers long 1 -2 hour eating time and have better dating events this time. The ones in SOS were a little painful to watch.

Why is it empty for bachelors? We have six choices for girls and six choices for boys. Well, I'm not sure what you mean about it looking empty, but in any case, the answer to your question is 'no', since there has been no more news about any other bachelors. I don't think there will be any...but if there are secret candidates we might not find out about them at all until after launch.

I haven't seen that before. Looks like Tools can be expanded in some way to have a larger area of effect. I've already seen "connected" plots, where the MC was carrying 2 plots at once (Reminiscent of ANB), but I don't think this way of using tools has been seen before. Nice find!

3oT got 32/40, which makes it identical to SoS. This actually worries me a little bit, I expected 3oT to be better D:> Of course the reviewers aren't always right and all that, but, hmm >.< I wonder what things are keeping the game from getting a better score?
