Hmmm, I'm not sure how I feel about Inari not being able to have kids. On the one hand, I almost never stick around long enough to even bother having a kid. On the other, I'm spoiled so I don't like it when I have my options taken from me lol.

Hmmmmmmmmmmmm, I'm not sure. In the last month or so I have found myself warming back up to Wayne, so we'll see.

I really want to see more of what Inari looks like in-game. They have separate official arts depending on their gender, but I wonder if there is a difference in in-game portraits?

Haha, you're allowed to think that without apologizing. If you feel that it's only a difference in expression rather than in the actual features, well, I can't say you're wrong (Except that I would say that the 'female' one definitely has smaller slightly thinner eyebrows, though that may not even be visible in-game as it's so minor). I would also rather to be able to compare the in-game character portraits than the concept art, since the concept art often doesn't look that much like what you see in-game.

EDIT: Oh my gosh, you guys...I hadn't been looking at Cherubae's tweets at all before this and she's putting up SO many revelations...your family WILL visit you, you can get jobs from your dad, there are so many birthdays and events that you can switch from monthly calendar view to just weekly...seriously, she's throwing out new news like crazy, go see! :D

EDIT 2: I don't know if her tweet means this for sure or not, but it SOUNDS like your dad sets goals for you and meeting them to make him proud might be the 'point' or plot of the game. (?)

You can have multiple pets, as many pet barns as you can, 1 pet per barn, plus your soul mate pet. Not sure yet if it can be swapped out.

The calender is insane. Bombardment of birthdays and festivals. Can switch between weekly view and monthly view. So much to do event-wise.

The towns are connected by a main crossroads and a path from Westown, to Lulukoko, to Tsuyukusa. There's fast travel points too.

It sounds like there is going to be LOADS to do. I wonder if there is just so much that that's why they had to give us the option of looking at the calendar weekly instead of just monthly, because there was so much to cram in...

Yeah, we found that out this morning from the Famitsu scans, too. It's too bad, since having kids adds more interest to the later game, for me.

And so the mystery of the red coat has been solved. Honestly, feels better than I thought it would and I'm really not surprised at all. It seems like they did away with returning candidates... for now.

Really liking the missions from Dad. I like clear-cut goals.

Also, yay for visiting family! I mean, I already really expected it, but it's nice to have it confirmed.

Cher's tweet about the soul mate allowing you to hear talk between other pets and wild animals sounds interesting. I wonder if the other animals will sometimes give you tasks to do as a way of raising their FP faster.

Also, we found out that Inari will have slightly altered appearance depending on which gender your MC is, so basically, Inari is a girl if you're a boy and a boy if you're a girl. (The difference is VERY subtle, though.) Also, Inari can't have kids.

And you can see Kirie's copy of Cherubae's many tweets direct from E3 if you look on this same page, but basically...we find out that your dad is going to set goals for you to reach to convince him you can succeed as a farmer, you will have a HUGE farm (3 screens worth that we know of) all to yourself with no public fields, and the event calendar is jam-packed with events. But honestly I recommend at least reading all of this current page because there is even more than that. I can't summarize all of it because there's just too much new info.
