ah, thanks. I wasn't sure if I understood it right, since just having a few spots around town (that in the screenshot kind of looks like a rock being held up within a wooden frame..) for mining is just..weird. even if you remove the screenshot, or if what we see isn't really that great a shot..its still weird.

I wonder just how time consuming that's going to be. I ended up not playing much of the last game simply because I spent SO much time resetting in the rivers that it took forever just to get through the day, and I got tired of playing and got distracted by the new animal crossing game, which ironically was less monotonous.

and really? have you seen the fandom on tumblr? you should know how wiled fangirls can be, and if you know tumblr, then you know how that culture of defensiveness and obsessiveness is doubled. did you miss what happened with Allen? abuse victims were harassed to the point of having to delete their accounts. I did not expect to get only a positive response. I expected to get TONS of backlash, mostly consisting of angry fangirls and "you're taking things way too seriously, its a kid's game". but instead I got fans who had seen the events thanking me for speaking up. believe it or not, I would be more than ecstatic to be proven wrong, because I was extremely hurt by what I found, and I plan to take closer looks at the events since what's written here is apparently so completely wrong. if I'm proved wrong, GREAT! then I have nothing to fear. that can only be a good thing.

I know I can be abrasive, and I wouldn't be angry if ya'll were mad about something I actually said, but since most of it is actually provably not what I've said, I find your claim very hard to believe.

ive been reading everything and not once has anyone brought up your preference/exeriences, they are just upset about the way you've said things. You're the one who keeps bringing up that you're lesbian. No one is calling you out on that, it's the fact that you won't take the time to listen to what others are saying. actually, the fish did. the fish felt the need to make sure I knew that what I was excited for was not real, would never happen, and that I'm wrong, and then I was accused of being gross for calling him "girly", when I never actually did. I am listening to what others have said. if my findings in my post are wrong, I'm more than happy to be proven wrong, and I've said so multiple times. I've not challenged anyone else's interpretations, and said all opinions on that topic is fine. I'm not here to debate that or fight, which I've also said multiple times. it really, honestly doesn't look like me who's not listening.

clearly, this will go no where fast, so since my question has finally been answered, I'll be leaving. I didn't come here to argue, and I'm not interested in continuing being piled on for things I didn't actually say.

But yeah in all honestly I'm really bummed about the mining, but as long as they don't make it such a huge thing idt it'll be too much of an issue? Like mining had a lot more rewards to it so to say, or like.. you needed it for more things. In the recent games you haven't needed the materials you get from mining as much anymore, or at least that's kind of how I feel. Could be wrong lol but as long as they don't make mining for materials such a huge part of the game, then I don't mind that the system is super easy. Also at least there's more than one crack in the wall this time apparently lol
