Renting Fields

Ok so I was just wondering, if you've rented a field and it's lease expires, do you get to renew them for free? Or do Elise/Giorgio/Fritz ever challenge you for them? I looked on the walkthrough thing, but I got even more confused orz

You can renew it on the day it says that your lease is due. If you don't do that in a few days, one of the rivals will ask for it

When it expires one of the rival farmers approach you and ask you for the field with a nice price attached to it (if they're Elise or Giorgio). If you say no then you do a competition. If yes you get what they offer.

You must talk to Veronica when it's expired or approaching the expiration date and you renew the area for free.

To answer your question, once your lease expires on day 0. You can go and renew it. It depends. Sometimes none of the rival farmers challenge you for the field you are renewing, sometimes they do challenge you for the field. I hope that helps!
