Discovered something by accident which I'd like to share with you, or at least with those who don't know about it yet.

If you put only a few crops (or products) in the machine, and repeat that for 10 times, they will be dried/threshed faster then when you put everything in at once. This is especially useful when you are trying to make whine. Instead of waiting for 80 days until your 20 whines are done, put in each order by itself and all 20 will be done in less than 5 days.
