That's good to know, thanks! I guess it should probably run fine on my old PC too since it can handle heavier games. And it's good to know that I can always get a refund if it doesn't work! I'll try to download it after my semester is over, otherwise I'll probably be way too addicted to study lol.RopeMaidenKirie wrote:Yeah, I have nothing but love for CA's work and honestly I think a lot of the art is personally pretty good? Just personal preference for a few of them that I wanted differently. I'm more of a bishounen-lover, so the mods work well for me on characters like Elliott. Which are technically all done by CA anyways since they are his old portraits, lol. He's done an amazing job doing it all by himself, that's for sure.
I'm just glad he's so cool with mods. I wouldn't use them if he wasn't fond of them himself.
@Autumn - this game can pretty much run on a toaster so I think you'll be fine. If you buy it on steam, you can refund your money if it doesn't end up working for you. My computer is like 5 years old and it runs perfectly on it. The customization mods to change portraits and whatnot don't make the game lag at all, as it's basically replacing the old files with new ones. Not sure about any of the other actual gameplay mods though.

So Alex and I got married. I woo'd Harvey until his 10 heart scene, but he just bored the « Cow Poopoo » out of me.
I've unlocked the greenhouse and bus, now I'm just working on a third house upgrade/having a child, and getting to year 3 to see

Really great 3 page interview with CA from PC gamer.com - http://www.pcgamer.com/stardew-valley-interview/#page-1
PCG: What do you plan to add?
EB: I pretty much have ideas with regard to every single area of the game that I could expand on. I want to release a pretty substantial free content update. That's my plan right now. When that'll actually happen—like, in what order I do things—I'm not quite sure yet. People, for example, have expressed a lot of interest in me adding more marriage candidates, especially Shane for some reason. And I'm definitely open to that. I like all the characters and so I'd be fine with adding pretty much anyone as a marriage candidate. Of course I only have a limited amount of time that I can spend on working on things but I'm going to try to basically expand every area I can.
I have a lot of ideas for end game content, to make it so that you can keep playing the game after two or three years in-game and there's more stuff to do, you know? These huge long term goals to keep you engaged with the game for a long time. Also the mines are an area that I think could use some more variety. I used to have dungeons in the game and stuff—that was back when the mines were procedurally generated, which didn't end up working out, but I would be interested in adding something like that again. Not necessarily procedurally generated dungeons, but just more varied areas to explore in the mines with some different gameplay mechanics.

The fishing mod feels too easy tbqh. The legendaries are a joke now but i still can't do it in vanilla, i hope there's a medium setting or something
do you need to give a bouquet to other candidates to get their hearts to 10 even if you're married?
i hope not i don't want to reject them when the prompts come up

Yeah, marriage candidates still need a bouquet to go past 8 hearts even if you're married, their events treat you as if you're still single.
I've heard your spouse gets jealous if you do this but I've kissed like 3 people since getting married and have yet to experience jealousy? Would be nice if you could be just friends with marriage candidates, though.
