Married Sam, saw Maru's 8 heart event and gifted a few ladies (still trying to view all events), and he was soooo rude the next day. Makes sense I guesssssss.
I just bought this game a few days ago and I am LOVING it.
There's so many secrets! So much to do! So many characters! You can marry whoever you want (that's eligible)!

I mean I guess you could keep it in a chest (which you can craft) but honestly there is no use for it once you upgrade. I kept mine in a chest initially and then tossed it after a while because it was just taking up space.
LOL I didn't know I could craft a chest when I first started.. So I ended up throwing away a bunch of materials. Needless to say I started a new game to get a better start.
Robin and her husband always go to the bar every Friday night and at some point they start dancing together. But because Robin is currently constructing something on my farm, Demetrius apparently still went to the bar and his sprite animation proceeds to dance with nothing
So I don't think I triggered Alex's six heart event, but he's at 8 hearts now and I can't seem to trigger it? And I'm almost in winter and apparently this next heart event (the 8 one) isn't until summer...?
Has anyone else had trouble triggering Abigail's 8th and Haley's 4th heart event? No matter what I do I can't seem to get them to trigger. Abby's been at 8 hearts for almost a season now and I still haven't gotten the letter from her inviting me over to her place.
Really wanna get everyone up to 8 hearts so I can start dating them, but these two events are really getting in my way, lol.

I'm with you... the marriage life is definitely one of the weakest parts of Stardew Valley. Basically, it just comes down to the fact that it's a huge amount of work to make all 10 candidates have distinct and complex personalities after marriage. I decided to release the game in an imperfect state, since I thought the game was still good despite having some flaws, and I was very anxious to get it out there after 4 years of development. I'll definitely work on it some more, though. In fact, I'm probably going to work on it today. It should keep improving bit by bit over time, and hopefully when I launch version 1.1 it will be a lot better.
Maybe I did see it and just forgot about it, or it's summer only idk. But are all heart events required for marriage? And when should I shove the bouquet in their face?
hmm, yeah I guess I'd just wait for summer and if you can't trigger it maybe send CA a tweet on twitter? He helps out folks a lot on there with issues. But you can still give him the bouquet at 8 hearts regardless!

I downloaded the Agro horse mod (from Shadow of the Colossus), so now my horse is Agro and she is beautiful and wow it really saves a lot of time having a horse. I accidentally got her stuck in the mines the first day I had her though - I wanted to see if I could use the minecarts while on a horse, and I'm pretty sure you can't, but I somehow managed to from the Town one. And then since you can't go through doors with the horse, it wouldn't let me leave the mines while riding her. So I just reloaded even though she probably would've turned back up at the house the next day but I didn't want to RISK IT.
